8Bitdo Sn30 Pro Wireless Bluetooth Controller, G Classic Edition

I had purchased this controller to mostly play games on the Nintendo Switch 2, and I gotta say, it works amazingly. The buttons are responsive, the d-pad is extremely nice, and the triggers are clicky, although they aren't analog triggers so, one push and you're at max input. The sticks themselves feel quite smooth as well, a little similar to a PS5 controller. The build quality itself is very good too and doesn't feel like cheap plastic. It also has some weight to it, although not a lot, which I'm sure some people will enjoy. Yes, it's a little small, so people with bigger hands may find it a little difficult to hold, though. I also heard that some controllers needed to update their firmware first before being able to play on the Switch 2, but this one worked with the console right out of the box. Even if it didn't though, all you would have to do is head to their website, have a USB-C cable ready (there's one included), and update the controller on your PC/laptop, pretty easy. All in all though, it's great, and I'm sure to purchase more controllers from this company in the future.

Amazing! I use this for OpenEmu, Dolphin, and Redream on my Mac, and Delta and Gamma on iPhone. It works flawlessly with all of them. Feels about the same size as a regular SNES controller, but the addition of Hall effect analog sticks and two extra shoulder buttons means you can play pretty much anything. The d-pad is just right, and feels exactly like the SNES. I also own an Xbox controller made by 8bitdo, and their stuff is top-notch, super solid build quality.

A nice compact versatile controller. So far, no connection issues whatsoever. Battery life is very acceptable, and the manufacture claims 18hrs of playtime. Officially supports iOS, Windows, Android, Switch and more. X-Input, D-Input, and Switch compatible. Even though Bluetooth is only version 4.0, I personally don't notice any excessive latency when using it wireless. It can be hardwired via USB-C which is a good feature. I have had many controllers over the years, and I can say that to me it fits very well in my hands. The button, D-Pad and stick layout works well for me. L2 and R2 are not analog, but I only use it for games that don't rely on the analog feature of those two triggers. The L and B buttons are a little close to LT and RT respectfully but are distinguishable from one another, at least for me. Feels of a good quality build. Overall, it's just what I need, a small controller able to fit in my shirt or coat pocket, has very reasonable rechargeable battery life, and is a perfect solution for retro games. I like this controller.

I picked up the 8Bitdo SN30 Pro specifically to use with my Tesla's built-in games, and overall I'm really happy with it. The only downside worth noting is a button mapping mismatch when playing Tesla games. The on-screen prompts don't line up with the physical buttons — for example, when the game tells you to press A, you actually need to press B, and when it says Y, you need to press X. It's not a dealbreaker once you get used to it, but it can be a little confusing at first, especially for new players. If you're looking for a wireless controller to use in your Tesla and don't mind a small learning curve with the button layout, this is a great pick.

I love 8bitdo controllers. The buttons and thumb sticks work well on their controllers and the build quality is always great. This one brings the SNES nostalgia for adults but is also great for kids or anyone with smaller hands. I have average sized hands and this feels fine to me for casual Smash Bros sessions with my kids. You can get this controller on sale sometimes and it's a great value.

This controller is superb. It is very responsive, has great range, no lag, a solid weight and build quality, and the hall effect joysticks feel very good. Battery seems to be around 12 or more hours before it flashed on mine. I use it on my pi retro gaming system and it had no issues connecting using the nintendo switch pairing option (holding down b and start to power on before pairing). I highly recommend and i will likely buy another just based on the cool color variations. I've played entire games with the analog sticks, and there was no point where it was uncomfortable in fact i almost prefer this over an xbox style controller for some games.

This is such a great purchase! It’s small and portable but not too small like the Nintendo switch remotes. It paired really easily to my iPad and has no lag that I can see. It’s perfect for playing my old Nintendo and PlayStation games on my emulator app on the iPad Pro. It came with free colorful thumb pad covers too!

This Bluetooth model Sn30 is responsive has the vibration and feels close to an original Nintendo game pad while mixing in a PS2 remote functions. Best I can describe it; born from those two controllers. Of course it also works with Xbox games but I prefer the feel of another model for Xbox which they sell. Holds a charge for a long time. Pairs extremely easy, in Batocera all I clicked on was pair remote and worked right away. Of course you can also plug it in with a cable if you wish through a USB port provided you get yourself a long enough cable. Build quality feels really good, it does not feel cheap at all and the buttons and joystick have a good feel to them. It came in a very nice box that looked an felt like an iPhone box. I know might sound ridiculous but it's all those little touches that shows it's well built and of quality. I purchased this during Cyber Monday. At it's current price I find it a touch on the high side but still a remote I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to retrogame.

This controller is amazing. I bought two for retro gaming on my tablet; primarily SNES. For that purpose it works amazing. I bought two and a hub to get around input lag but even over bluetooth its not that bad. You'll notice the BT lag if you're speed running but its fine for casual play. I've ran through Super Mario World and a Link to the Past with no issue. Though one issue I have is when using Moonlight to stream my PC the controls are super annoying. I'm kinda regretting I didn't get the Xbox version because Retroarch is easy to invert the controls where as its a nightmare for Moonlight and Steam. Only get this controller if you intend to use it on a Nintendo Switch, otherwise get the other layout. That being said its still a great controller and once you work it into your muscle memory its not that bad.
