I had cataract surgery and I was told it would be hard to not get water in my eyes if I washed my hair in the shower. These very dependable one-use shields stay on through a shower and do the trick of keeping my eyes safe while recovering from the surgery. I was in desperate need of a hair cut, and my wonderful hair dresser was delighted to see these and says she's going to get some to keep on hand for other clients who have trouble keeping hair and water off their eyelashes. The adhesive does stick and provide a good water block, but it doesn't keep water entirely off the area between the adhesive and the top of the shield, so you need to have a towel immediately handy to pat your forehead and the hair around your face dry and remove the shield fairly quickly otherwise the steam may build up and make the process less successful. Very pleased I found these and will be using them for the next month until the doctor says everything is healed. An all around good product. By the way, I changed to a new face shield as soon as the sink washing process finished, and was able to keep my eyes safely covered while the cutting and shaping process went on. My hairdresser did have a little problem getting to sides and top when trimming, I had to turn in the chair a bit, but I put my hands up to hold the shield when she needed to clip closely, and her clever skillful use of scissors made the face shield a hit for this haircut!

I had cataract surgery. This is PERFECT for keeping water out of your eyes when showering. The adhesive that secures the visor to your forehead does the job so well! I did not worry at all about water getting to my eyes. And it was easy to remove. This is a 100% great product!

Worked great when I had cataract surgery and couldn't get my eyes wet (surgery 1 eye at a time). I first tried swimmers goggles but didn't fit right and water got in. This shield worked great!
