Matin M-7360 Adjustable Grip for Camera

These grips add a superb level of additional control of any SLR with battery grip attached. The pad round your hand could be a bit wider but is fine for most situations. Fitted to all my Canon SLRs as a default.

It was worth buying this accessory just for the way that the instructions have been translated into English. They are hilarious. Anyway this hand strap does what it says on the tin. When I first tried to put it on to my camera I found it a bit on the difficult side to attach again because of the pigeon English instructions but after a few attempts I finally got the hang of it. Once it has stretched a bit and formed to the shape of your hand it becomes surprisingly comfortable in use. Only two draw backs with this little gizmo and they are once the base plate is attached to the camera it blocks the battery compartment and has to be loosened to change the battery and secondly the way that your hand goes through the strap restricts access to the menu buttons. So instead of just being able to use my thumb to change the menu I now have to use my other hand, but hey, I need the exercise. I have a Sony a330 so it might be different for other makes of camera. All in all not bad for the price.

UPDATED. Now using this with a Canon 6D. I still think it's a good buy, but the comment below regarding the battery compartment still applies. Bought for a Canon 600D, the grip does its job pretty well, and is much more useful than a ghastly neck strap gradually pulling your head off all day and your camera banging against your ribcage. If you are determined, it is just about possible to fit a neck strap through the grip as well. The only downside is that the base plate that screws into the bottom of the camera slightly protrudes over the battery compartment, making changing the battery a little fiddly. Obviously, this does not apply when using the strap with the battery grip. However, the strap then interferes with using the grip in portrait format by getting in the way of the shutter release and other buttons.

I purchased the hand strap after trialling various camera straps, my Canon 7D is quite heavy when hung around the neck for long periods and my holster bag doesn't accomodate the various other straps tried, so I purchased the leather hand strap and "he presto" problem solved.

I can always find what I'm looking for on Amazon at a better price :-) ...Great Product.

Get ready to enjoy taking more pictures than ever. Handy grip keeps the camera in your hand all the time so all you just need to do is click. Was a bit concerned with reviews that I had read in relation to the fitting of the strap but I found it really easy to fit and had no problems whatsoever.

the grip came very quick. service very good.but found it difficult to ajust.still have not sorted it out yet to get it right.you have to uncrew the grip to change the battery all though it not a big job it is still annoying.i am not completley satisfied with it .it is not very comfortable on your hand.i am still persevereing

Je vois tout le temps des photographes qui se promènent avec des gros appareils reflex accrochés autour du cou, on se demande comment ils ne terminent pas la journée avec un torticoli violent. La solution de l'appareil en bandoulière avec une bandoulière de type Black Rapid est préférable, mais très moche et finalement pas toujours pratique. Le grip est vraiment ce que je préfère: on porte l'appareil à la main sans risque de le faire tomber. La plaque fournie est épaisse et peu pratique car (sur les Canon) elle empêche d'ouvrir la trappe de la batterie; je l'ai remplacée par une plaque d'acier fine, bloquée par une attache rapide Manfrotto, c'est parfait; je peux monter l'appareil sur un pied ou pas, tout en gardant la main dans le grip (et pour une longue journée, si nécessaire, je peux aussi connecter derrière une bandoulière Black Rapid: ceinture, bretelles et parachute!!!)

Pour: - platine très plate ce qui fait que l'appareil est plus stable quand on le pose et l'augmentation de hauteur est modérée. - confort et maintien ok. - accroche de sangle du côté gauche (pour ajouter une sangle de cou si besoin). Contre : la platine est trop longue ce qui m'oblige à la dévisser pour accéder à la batterie (sur un canon 40D ça passe juste en forçant un peu et sur un canon 6D il faut faire pivoter la plaque). Je l'utilise malgré tout car je n'ai pas trouvé mieux mais c'est pénible de temps en temps.

L'attache de la dragonne au niveau du dessous du boitier, se fait par un rectangle robuste de bonne construction qui se visse la ou vient se fixer la rotule d'un trépied. Pas de panique sur le socle de la dragonne 1cm à coté un pas de vis identique est prévu pour fixer le trépied si besoin. Monté sur un nikon D90 le socle de la dragonne est de la bonne taille, il ne gene en rien l'acces à la batterie. La dragonne est en cuir, ce qui laisse pensée que le produit sera fiable dans le temps. Le cuir limite aussi la transpiration et les éventuelles irritations. Pour la fixation de la dragonne sur la partie haute du boitier, c'est une simple boucle que l'on fait. De toute façon sur les boitiers il y a simplement qu'un arceau donc ne peux avoir mieux, mais cela est amplement suffisant. Si j'ai mis 4 étoiles, c'est que pour moi la lanière fournie avec la dragonne était trop longue, j'ai du la couper un peu, sinon le surplus de la lanière était gênant. Ce type de lanière permet de sécurisé l'accroche de la main sur le boitier, et incite donc en soulageant nos muscles, à ce que la main soit naturellement garder avec une prise sur le boitier et voir même un doit sur le bouton de prise de photo. il ne faut pas acheter ce matériel, si vous recherchez une dragonne qui sert a avoir votre main libre ou si vous pensez que votre appareil restera fixé à votre main en cas de chute. Pour cela il faut prendre une dragonne avec attache au poignet.

C'est une bonne poignée, pour le prix qu'on paie. Le cuir est agréable, et le côté pratique pour lequel on achète ce genre d'accessoire est bien là. On l'empoigne et on a son appareil en main, puis on l'enfile si on veut commencer la prise de photos.. Le seul reproche c'est qu'il aurait pu être un peu plus large, ce serait impeccable.

Article pratique permettant une utilisation sécurisée plus simple d'un appareil réflex. Associée à un sac porté en ceinture, cette dragonne permet de sortir et ranger l'appareil très facilement sans embrouiller un long cordon tout en favorisant une bonne prise en main. Par contre le prix est plutôt élevé pour un simple accessoire mais il est vrai que le confort apporté par le cuir est agréable.
