Use this regularly, works wonders in the sinks

Reviewed Feb 2025: Have had a few instances where the toilet was blocked due to huge logs, and even after 8 hours of bleach, could not move the moser.. After several flushes to make sure the bleach was gone, and no risk of mixing chemicals, I tried this almost in desperation. After a few hours, it had started to breakdown the contents, and after a flush, the whole lot moved and the toilet was back operational again. Much better, and cleaner than a plunger or using the wifes toothbrush to poke it free. Will by again.

I’ve been relying on Mr Muscle for years to tackle my shower drain which seems to clog pretty often. No other brand works as well in my opinion. I was happy to receive this biodegradable version of the one i usually use to try. Using it is the same as any other drain cleaner - simply pour it down the drain and wait. I will say that it doesn’t work quite as quickly as the standard version. I can’t see it working on the toughest clogs as well either. However, if you’re happy to leave overnight then you’ll get better results. If using products that are better for the environment it’s important to you, you may be happy to take that slight reduction in performance. However, you should be prepared to pay more for it too. If this version was equal in price to the standard version, I would consider purchasing in future.

This is not as efective as the normal mr my me drain unblocker. Had to use two dosages and still not great. This was not a full blockage

When the Waste pipe blocks Mr Muscle can spring into action and I’ve found the foam type to be more effective to clean the whole pipe if there is only a partial blockage since the liquid does not run through. Such an inexpensive product to have on standby which is pure gold when that inconvenient blockage occurs.

Did the job well, but be careful not to spill on you leather sofa as I did!

I really wasn't impressed with the foam. It smells like it is going to work and gives the impression of cleaning, but in reality I don't think it actually did much. I was hoping like the spray versions by generic brands, it would foam rapidly and massively, going through the overflow and all the pipe, but it just sat in the main trap without doing much. The drain cleaner from the same brand is much better.
