Plug-in Dual Motion Sensor Stair Lights Indoor, Stairway Hallway Light with Cascading Effect, Dimmable, 3000K-6000K (12 Stairs)

I had other lights that would come on when you got near them one by one not really good. You’re already on the step before you can see what you’re doing. This is pretty cool and that once you tripped the sensor on either side, the top of the stairs or the bottom it will start lighting up in whatever way you have it set up where it will light up each their one at a time like one second after the other as you’re headed up or down or you can turn on all at once you can even have it turn on when nighttime comes and leave it on I did fine with them that you can only really mount them on the left side of the stairs, going up because of the way the light has a hood on it and shines its light across. Not really a big issue. One important thing is you have to follow the light numbers on the back you start with 12345 like that and continue forward do not get them mixed up or they will come on in the wrong order. I don’t think you have to use all the lights like let’s say you bought 16 and you only use 14 that’ll still work but you just don’t use number 15 and 16 as an example. I was able to use all 16 lights because you can kind a bunch of few up on a corner, but it comes in different sets. Everyone really likes them and for Thanksgiving when people came up with they were really impressed with how it lit up and looked highly professional, but super easy to install. All wires are preset size so make sure you work out. Where are you gonna put each thing first

This is a great concept idea. We use it on our stairs as our house is very dark in the evenings. The sensor sees you approaching. Will turn on the lights in either an all on or all off or we’ll do them one at a time like a wave going up or down the stairway. Very glad we purchased this. It makes the stairs much safer at night.

Light on the stairway went out and it is very high. I found this item and was hoping to install as a solution to allow an elderly person to safely go up/down the stairs, and THESE DID THE TRICK PERFECTLY!!! It was easy to install and had clear instructions. I wish it would have included a few more connecting cables (short ones) for the length of my stairway but i was able to use the longer ones and Hide the excess. Having the motion sensor at both ends is perfect, the lights come up (sequentially in my case, there are other settings) from either end and no need to worry to turn on/off. I used "double sided alien tape" to secure the cable in a straight line between lights and it looks very nice. You will need a power source close to either end of the stairs. My second set of stairs do not have a close outlet so i am not able to use maybe they will come up with a way to extend past the sensor to include a second flight of stairs... in any case i would recommend it.

I love these enough that I bought another set. They have worked perfectly for me. Great quality and durable in my opinion and they do have multiple white light settings from warm to bright. It's "tasteful" with color tones. They can read daylight, stay on all the time or evening motion. I have multiple layers of stairs so these help so you can see without extra lights. I really dig that they turn on one by one like a "pulse" as you decend or visa versa. They plug in so no charging them repeatedly just to use them. The backs have 3m sticky adhesive plates. You can lightly tap them so you space them out evenly before pressing them down so they don't move (easy installation)

These are a fantastic option for lighting staircases. After using rechargeable usb lights with motion sensors and having to continually recharge them, I came across these and they are fantastic. The raceway is something that really is necessary, and for more aesthetic reasons, can be color matched to the install. In this case it was needed to keep curious animals from biting through wires. The adhesive is 3M and once it's on the wall, it's actually a bit of a struggle to get it removed. Using a hair dryer to get things warm and a paint scraper helps but the back of some of the units popped out cause the adhesive is just so strong. Next time around I'm going to replace the adhesive backing with 3M dual loc velcro so if needed, each light can be removed much easier. Overall a great solution, and I did not even use all 12, so you don't necessarily have to if your install doesn't require it as mine did not.

I was excited to get this and install but that was short lived when after a day, the sensors stopped recognizing motion or movement even when I'm directly in front of it dancing or waving. I'm glad to have not permanently installed the lights using the stickies, but rather use a painters tape to mount them in place, now removal of this faulty product would be easy. The concept is great, but the lifespan is certainly a disadvantage. Returning....

Follow up . One sensor will not turn on lights. Was sent a replacement , issue not resolved . The sensor will indicate motion turning red but it will not turn on the lights.

Perfect for what I needed: a way to illuminate a stairway without hard wiring and without maintaining batteries. I was able to plug the power end into an outlet, stick the lights at the treads, and position the PIR sensors. And no tools needed. I can come in from the garage at the bottom and not fumble my way up in the dark because the light swith is at the top. I have no experimented with the different color temperatures and activation patterns but the default setting was just fine for my needs.

Love this product! Great quality. Easy to install. The movement sensors at the top and bottom of the stairs work great and i love how the lights shine onto each step turning on and off by themselves. I deffinately recommend this product.

These lights were a snap to install. We used them at our voltage as the stairs are in a corner with no lighting. They work great and no more falling on the stairs. Our dog is 13 and has trouble seeing steps. With these lights she goes to the wall and up the stairs with ease.

could never get it to work - even though I am very technical. No support. No response to multiple emails. This was a complete waste of time and money

I really like this stair light. So many programed functions buit in and I can control everything by remote. But there's a small issue. Once in a while the light stops turning on when sensor catches a motion. I have to disconnect/reconnect power cable to make it work again. Have to do that once a week.

Love these!! Easy to install and use. These are bright and useful at night so your not turning lights on.
