Great fun
These are great fun and plenty of hours of entertainment to be had. The buttons on the top are simple on/off and then one shows what team you are on and this can be changed. They are really comfortable to hold and fairly lightweight. Batteries in them have lasted for ages and no signs of them slowing down at all. Great fun and different from other types of games, this made a nice change for them to play in the garden. Looking closer it is all sealed and secure, really well put together and durable. They have handled plenty of knocks and bangs and no damage or broken bits etc. Good value and defiantly worth the peace and quite they give!

Great fun, well made and works well
These laser tag blasters are genuinely great fun. My children have been having been thoroughly enjoying these and been shooting each other at every opportunity. The guns themselves are nicely weighted and sit well in your hands, even smaller hands seem able to handle them with ease. On top of the gun there are are 3 buttons, one for on/off, the other to switch which team you are in (the light changes on the gun to show you if you are in team green, yellow, red etc) and the final button to switch between single shot and a burst of fire. The trigger can be pressed down to fire and pushed up to reload. On multi fire you must reload frequently, which is a nice addition to the game. The quality of the product seems good, the guns are sturdy and well made. Each gun takes 3 AAA batteries and there are two screws to hold the part that you remove for inserting the batteries. So far we have not needed to change the batteries, which is a good to see as clearly you get a long amount of play from them. The range on the guns seems good too, certainly indoors they have not gone out of range so you can hide and shoot at each other across multiple rooms without worrying about the range. The accuracy of them is OK. I'm not sure exactly where the sensors are in the gun for receiving a hit, but it feels pretty fair and we have not had it recording hits when you are out of sight of the other gun. The game is super simple, load up, choose your team, try to shoot the other person to kill each of their 6 lives before they do the same to you. Overall a really great toy

Good quality and sound effects, bit too easy to get hit
The item looks good quality, sound effects are good. One negative point is that it is quite easy to hit the opponent even if the gun isn't aiming directly at the target, by reflecting off room surfaces.

Avoid
The laser blasters look cool but what a terrible design.. We thought the accuracy was off so we came up with a little test. Put one receiver on a chair, and shoot the other blaster in the complete opposite direction and yep, you guessed it, it takes points off the receiver, that's BEHIND the blaster. Long story short. If youre in the same room as the other player literally all you have to do is point the blaster in ANY direction and you'll get a hit, not good at all.

Great fun for the kids - and the adults!
These laser tag blasters have been a brilliant addition in our house and get used far more often than I expected. They feel well balanced in the hand, not too heavy but not cheap-feeling either, so both kids and adults can use them comfortably. The controls are simple enough to pick up straight away. Youโve got buttons to power on, pick a team colour, and switch between firing modes, plus the trigger doubles up for shooting and reloading, which adds a bit more involvement to the gameplay. What makes them fun is how interactive they are. Switching between single shots and rapid fire changes the pace quite a bit, and having to reload regularly stops it from just becoming button mashing. The built-in sensors seem to register hits fairly consistently too, so it doesnโt feel random or frustrating. Range has been more than enough for indoor play, even across rooms, and weโve not had issues with it dropping out. Battery life has also held up well so far, which is a relief given how often they get picked up. Theyโre solidly built as well, coping fine with enthusiastic use. The only slight downside is the sound โ itโs quite loud and there doesnโt seem to be a way to turn it down, which might not suit everyone. Overall though, theyโre easy to use, well made, and genuinely entertaining. Great for getting everyone moving and a lot more engaging than you might expect at first glance.

Easy but bit basic functionality.
Gun doesnโt have sensor so you only die if the (easy to hide) body sensor is hit. Reload button very sticky and hard for small fingers. Body strap massive for 40โ waist. One gun broke very quickly. Otherwise they look cool and are easy to use and learn what the buttons do.

Really good fun, great noises!
As per the heading! Great fun. The noises are super - very spacey and futuristic - I felt as though I was in a star wars film.

A budget laser tag set, and it shows
This is a basic set that comes with two blasters that have the sensors built in, so there's no separate chest sensor. First off, they require 3 x AA batteries each and you have to unscrew and remove the top half of the case to access them. This isn't too bad but you are also exposing a lot of the electronics so make sure you're not in a dirty or wet environment when you do it. Functionally they have a couple of different firing modes which are basically automatic and single shot, and you can swap teams which is denoted by the coloured light on the side. Where they fall down a bit is that you don't actually have to be aiming anywhere near your opponent's gun to get the point...you just have to aim in their general direction or in some cases just be in the same room. I get the need to lower the accuracy a little as you have to aim for the gun rather than the person, but I think they've gone a bit overboard. Another problem is the volume. Like every other electronic toy that's been created in the last few years, they are several decibels louder than they need to be and there's no way to turn down the volume. This makes them problematic when played with indoors, and possibly disruptive and annoying when used outdoors, especially given the repetitive nature of the sounds that are played. Overall, I'd say they work well enough with younger kids, especially if you don't want the hassle of having to put on a chest/back sensor, but personally I think it's worth spending a little extra for a better set that has additional sensors.
