When you first pick this tool up, you can tell it's not some bargain priced junk. Has that long lasting feel to it. I haven't used it extensively yet,and any tool can have hiccups, but this one seems to be the exception to the rule. Operates smooth, locks and unlocks correctly, and does what it's supposed to. At first glance, it looks like it was only made for single piston calipers. It handled dual piston calipers easily. Wish it was easier to make it lie flat for my shallower drawers in the tool box. But that's a minor inconvenience. Really speeds up the process of compressing the piston compared to the c clamp method. Like the finish on the handles, nothing stains them. Quick wipe, and they're like new. Overall a superb value

This works great! It's a big help with compressing the piston on your disk brake calipers. I wish I had found this years ago. Would have saved a lot of effort from having to use C-clamps to pusht the piston back.

#1 issue is that not all cars work like this. If your breaks only need to be pushed in, this is fantastic. Likely Highlander, just push the grip and it closes one-handed. Perfect. My Impala however has front Pressure like this, but the backs need to be twisted as well. This will not twist. If I did not have my old red case with the bent and rusted manual spreader, I would not have been able to do the fronts or the backs. This is because the fronts also had 2 pistons, so I needed the old one to keep the first piston closed, while the new hand grip tightened the second piston. This product is easy to use for what it is. Just be sure to keep the old manual one around just in case.

I wish I would have had this thing 20 years ago! I have been using the brake spreader that you have to slide in and then turn a bolt to open the piston. This tool was so much quicker and easier to use. I just used one of the old brake pads to press up against the brake piston and then squeezed the grip a few times to press the piston into place so that I had enough room to fit the new pads. Genius!

I've wanted one of these for a while, and I finally do enough brake jobs to warrant keeping and storing this tool. I was very happy with the quality and how well they work.

Have had this for some time now in workshop use, and it's still working flawlessly. Nicely finished, and nice build quality. So much quicker pushing pistons back in sliding calipers with this tool.
