Bite size Roman info
We like this Usbourne 'See Inside' range, as it has interesting bite-sized facts, brightly coloured pictures filled with people, activities and buildings which give an insight into Roman life. It could do with having a few more pages or a bit more fact-based info, but this is more from my point of view than my 6 year olds, who does regularly read it in bed.

Bought for my daughter who is studying the Romans at school. Really brings the key facts to life. Her younger sister also enjoys looking at the book and opening the flaps and having it read to her as a bedtime story! Very worthwhile purchase.
