Brilliant! No power required firm air mattress
Ok- as a former Boy Scout, former Girl Scout dad and guy who’s wife used to like to go camping all I can say WOW! This thing is really cool. I was blown away away at how well the built in manual foot pump worked. Using a foam insert as a foot pump is such a simplistic design it really can’t fail and is amazingly effective. The chambered design doesn’t require nearly as much air as it looks like it would for it’s size I think it took me around 350 foot pumps to air it up completely. It was very firm before I got on it. This should easily accommodate any size person, it is firm enough to support a very light individual and strong enough to support those of us on the large human side. I weigh around 275lbs and am over 6’ tall and it supported my weigh evenly and effortlessly without any sagging or low spots. I had someone else lay on it with me and our combined 500 or so pounds were both fully supported. Due to the chambered design if you kneel on it your knee will touch ground but when you lay out on your side, back or stomach the weight is distributed and while you can feel the ridges they aren’t uncomfortable, I doubt you would even notice them using a sleeping bag. This is a very lightweight air mattress and it rolls up into a very small bag. You could easily carry it camping without sacrificing much space in a backpack or easily step it to the outside with creating an overly bulky add on. I’d recommend paying attention to how it is folded when you open it the first time because it will fold back the same way and fit easily into the bag. The air releases on either pillow let nearly all the air escape when you are ready to put it away. Opening both allow the small amount of remaining air to easily escape allowing it to be stored in such a small bag. Honestly it was more work to get it out of the bag than it was to put it in the bag when I was done. 100% recommend this for it’s size, function, ingenious design and effectiveness.

Perfect for what we needed it for!
We took this sleeping pad on our recent trip to Hawaii because we spent one night camping in Haleakalā National Park so we could watch the sunset and sunrise the next morning. It worked perfectly for what we needed! All we wanted was a thin pad, enough so we weren’t sleeping in the ground. The fact this was thin made it easy to pack in a suitcase for travel to and from Hawaii but it was comfy enough that we didn’t have to feel the ground underneath us as we slept. We also liked that we didn’t need a battery or electric powered pump to fill it as it has that built in manual pump that we were able to easily fill it by compressing the pump ourselves. 10/10 recommend if you need something easy to pack and travel with!

Easy, Comfortable, and Perfect for Family Camping
Right out of the box, it was a breeze to set up: I simply unfolded it, used the foot pump for a minute or two, and it reached full firmness without any hassle. The built-in pillow is a smart touch, and the thickness makes a noticeable difference in comfort compared to thinner pads I’ve used before.Durability-wise, the material feels heavy-duty and well-constructed. I’ve tested it on both grass and rocky ground, and there are no signs of punctures or excessive wear. The seams hold firm, and the fabric feels like it will last through multiple trips. Most importantly, I’m confident this pad will be perfect for camping with our kids. The extra thickness should help everyone sleep soundly on uneven ground. Setup and breakdown are quick—especially handy when wrangling little ones at sunrise. Overall, this double self-inflating pad is easy to use, seems very durable, and is exactly what we need for family camping outings.

Perfect for camping
My family of 5 just got back from our first ever camping trip. I never sleep well on air mattresses because I can feel every move my husband and I make so I opted to get these air mats. They were super easy to blow up.. didn’t even need a pump ..just a hand or foot and you’re on your way. They look similar to pool floats but they worked perfectly for sleeping a few nights in a tent. My husband and I never felt the gravel beneath us and since it’s stable on the ground and just thick enough to keep you lifted..(even my 250 pound husband) we never felt the constant movement that we would on an air mattress and slept great considering! It has head support but with my thick pillow under my head and neck.. I couldn’t have asked for better.

Good things come in small packages!
I purchased two of these air mats for our camping trip in Florida in May. They are easy to inflate with either the built-in foot pump or the small electric air pump, which is what I used. I put a light weight sleeping bag on top with a sheet and my pillow. I was comfortable all night, even the dogs liked it! No problem with punctures or deflating from their claws. It was easy to pack up and definitely fit back into the bags that come with it. No deflating in the middle of the night, super lightweight too. I fit two of the full-size beds in our tent with plenty of room for the gear, portable A/C, two people, and 3 dogs.

WAS THAT AN EXPLOSION??
This is going to be one of those reviews that you screenshot and send to your friends. For starters, this air pad or whatever you would call it works great, is lightweight, and a perfect size for two people. I bought it for a vacation and was using it for my boyfriend and I to sleep on the floor of his spare room. Here’s where it gets interesting. It’s night three, everything’s going great. I finally am used to sleeping on this mat, and I am DEAD asleep. My boyfriend just falls asleep and then we hear it.BANG!!We shoot up.BANG!!We scream!!It takes us some time, and some investigative work, but it wasn’t a gun shot we heard. No dear reader, it was the SEAM on my boyfriend’s HEADREST. Poor guy thought he was getting shot at!!All in all, the air pad is great. It’s quiet and doesn’t squeak on hardwoods. Just be sure that you don’t over fill it, or you’ll be waking up to gunshots on your next vacation.4/5 stars.
