Excellent Snapshot of English Royalty
Love this book. It’s an easy read and has lots of tidbits I hadn’t found in other books. Use it as a reference and for interesting history lessons, so I can try to understand who’s related to whom and why one historical figure had a more or less direct line to the throne. “Try” being the operative word.

Fact Filled, great Pictures, but....typeset is very very small
A must have for those who are learning about British monarchs. Nicely written synopsis on each monarch with more attention given to a select few who reigned long or during historic times (Henry VIII, George III, Victoria, etc.). Yet, the typeset is very small (6 pt?). I had to order new magnifying glasses to read.

Great little book but the pages between 64 and 121 are missing! Unfortunately the king we were interested in checking out was somewhere is the missing pages :-(

This book is a concise reference book to the lives of our Kings and Queens and the events in their reign. Easy reading. A few pictures. Ideal for school work or quick reference.

I already have this book on my shelves and bought this copy for my adult son after we had discussed a recent TV programme about the Plantagenets. I have often reached for this book after watching an historical drama, to check the facts, and have been known to continue reading far beyond the place where I started! It is well illustrated and gives a clear, concise overview of our monarchs from Boudicca up to our present Queen. Very readable.
