I have both of the other flower books by this author, as well as the ocean animals book. I have found these to be the best drawing books out there. The guides really help you to get the flowers/animals to look good. Each step is clear and makes sense. That brings me to this book. Once I saw that Aska had another flower book out, this one on perspective flowers, I knew I had to have it. A quick flip through shows a good level of difficulty, from beginner to intermediate, and plenty of flowers to choose from. I also love that the flowers are illustrated in color on the back cover. Perfect inspiration for using my watercolor pencils. I can’t wait to dive in.

This is a lovely guide to drawing flowers book. Very relaxing. I love the penciled guides. Great for beginners or any level for practice or tutorial purposes. In my case I just wanted something simple to remind myself of how to create flowers with dimension. Now I want one for leaves!

Aska Hall has done another great job with this book. It covers drawing flowers in different ways. It's fun to see the variety of flowers to draw. I think most ages of "budding" artists will enjoy this book.

A very helpful and complete guide! I was surprised by how soft the cover is and I love it even more! All my favourite flowers are listed which is why I perchased it and I don't regret it ! 25 flowers in total, the explanations are very clear and easy to follow. I started drawing right away (picture 3) and I love the result! Can't wait to be able to draw bouquets 🌺🌸

I recently purchased this book. I can draw but I wanted to learn more. This book is very easy to follow as it gives you clear templates to practice , step by step. I highly recommend this book if you want to learn how to draw flowers.
