9 month follow up review: I’m still blown away at the quality of this camera as well as the sound! It’s night time video too is exceptional - I have multiple cameras now but this is the OG best in class for sound and audio!!! They’ve also listened to a lot of feedback and added more features to the app!! If I could rate it more stars I would! Original Review: This HiBird video cam bird feeder has exceeded my expectations. The packaging was premium, and the build quality feels solid, high end and well thought out. Assembly was quick and easy, and I was pleasantly surprised by how smoothly it connected to my Wi-Fi - no issues at all, I am using a 5GHz-only Google Fiber setup. The camera quality is excellent, and upgrading the SD card to 128GB was simple. To be honest the include SD card i think it was 32GB has enough capacity to store a few weeks worth of footage. I’ve captured 170+ clips at 4K in the past 4 days and I’m barely touching 8GB. I love how securely everything locks into place, and the included strap has been really useful for mounting the unit when not utilizing the included metal bracket. I have been using it during the day as a bird cam and at night as a critter cam. In just a few days, we’ve captured amazing footage of raccoons, possums, and squirrels. Still waiting on more birds, but that’s part of the fun! My kids have been thoroughly entertained by it - they love watching the clips when they get notified of new captures! The only thing I wish it had is better sharing options. Right now, you can’t share the live feed with others, or stream to platforms like TikTok. It would be cool to embed the live feed on a website too. For me the live feed sharing is the one missing feature I hope they add. Overall, this is a fantastic product at a great price point. If you’re looking for a wildlife cam that’s easy to use and delivers high-quality results, it will certainly make a great gift for someone. I highly recommend it!

The Bird Watcher / Feeder is very well built. Easy to assemble and connect to the Hibird Studio App. I used the version for IOS on an iPad. You will get a notification of bird activity. You can view live, or view videos saved on the Micro SD memory card. My wife and I both have iPads. Note that it IS NOT possible to connect two iPads to the camera at that same time. This makes sense, since there could be conflicts in which iPad is actually in control. Sharing: there is an option to send an invitation to another person, and they can have access to the video stored on the Micro SD card. However they can't view the Live camera view. AI bird identification seems to work pretty well. But I am no expert on bird identities so I can't comment on accuracy. I know Cardinals and the Camojojo 4K HD Bird Feeder with Camera identifies it correctly. Also knows how to ID squirrels (LOL). Squirrels are a nuisance in any bird feeding situation. One reviewer noted that the birds were chewing away at the bird seed table on the unit. I can assure you the birds are not doing the chewing... it is the squirrels. I can't comment on battery life yet. Battery charging port is USB C. It can be supplied with up to 12VDC, so it should be easy to rig up a small solar panel, or connect to a USB charger if you have a nearby outlet. So far, it has been fun to watch the birds up close. I have several other feeders near the window in the great room, but no camera there to catch the action. So the Camojo is a great addition to my wild bird sanctuary!

So far, this is an excellent smart feeder- it has been added to my bird stalker collection, and at this point is the crown jewel. This is my fourth smart feeder, so I’m not being dazzled by the novelty. The video quality is excellent. The sound quality, also excellent. The fact that the wifi can connect to both bands of WiFi- great! The build of the feeder seems as though it will be easy enough to break down for deep cleaning. The large open space for seed was a bit of a concern, as I thought the birds would knock seed out- but it actually is not an issue. The seed feeding area is fairly deep. I have not encountered how it performs with rain, so I cannot review that aspect of the feeder. I bought the bundle with the beefy solar panel, with its own battery storage, which I suspect will be a boon for not so sunny days. It’s also been great. The app is solid. My only slight complaint about it is that the content accessible when you share access with another person isn’t as robust. And when you share full access, only one account will be signed in at a time. It’s a minor nuisance. The mounting bracket is solid and easy to install. At this point, I highly recommend.

This is my second camera bird feeder, and what an improvement! This is a very sturdy device, It mounts easily and makes the removal for cleaning and recharging the battery very easy. I go a month between charges with over 300 pics per day. I am not using the video at this time as it simply uses up too much of the battery. In the future I would like to connect it to a solar panel. The only drawback of the actually design of where you fill it with seed. When I lift the cover, it is a narrow space to fill--some seed normally spills off and catches on the side latches for the roof, thus making it impossible to secure the roof. The squirrels are smart little things, and know straight away if the roof isn't latched on tight. The picture quality is truly remarkable. Overall, I am a very happy birding enthusiast.

Update! I purchased a second to use solely for birds. That’s how much I love the quality of this camera! I wanted a camera to watch the strays & street cats up close while they eat. The bird feeder(from a different brand) I purchased first was great but it stopped recording when the sun went down(my own error I skipped over thst part). I bought this one because it had been my second choice after looking at a ton. I needed something that recorded at night and I’m all about having the best quality footage. I am usually a review junky and with this being rated by a small amount I was hesitant BUT it came from a company that makes trail cams so it had to be decent. The image/video quality blew me away. Stunning. The sound is crisp. The charge seems like it will last me a little but I will possibly buy a solar panel later on. I do find fault in the AI aspect. It’s obviously a bird feeder first and a stray snack shack second so I’d expect it to be pretty accurate in identifying birds. It thought the lawn decoration was a certain bird and my croc as a duck the cat as a squirrel the fox I don’t think it said. It did recognize me as a person. BUT even then it gives you a % accuracy. So it was low for those but gave an 89% on my house sparrow. You can Delete/edit what the AI says if it’s not correct. I don’t really care about the accuracy because this for me is not a bird identifying feeder(that’s just a bonus). I do think the app needs some work. It has closed out on me and the overall layout I’m not a fan of. But it’s not a deal breaker. Overall I’m so so so happy I bought this instead of making my own blink camera version or buying another brand. Don’t let the low reviews throw you off. An absolutely fantastic purchase.

I was impressed with the feeder when I unboxed it. The feeder is very well built and sturdy. The camera itself is the real deal; it's heavy, nothing flimsy about it. Setup is easy with connection to my WIFI network; I am getting great reception [5G] in my backyard. It is extremely easy to clean and refill, which I am happy about. The camera is exceptional, and the video quality is unmatched among camera feeders on the market. I recommend this product to my family and friends and share videos of some of my visitors with them. Beeindruckendes Bild in 4K/30fps und 32MP Fotos. Die Kamera ist richtig gut und verfügt über das 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi Das Haus selbst ist von sehr guter Qualität und auch schön groß. Die Kamera könnte man schnell mal abmontieren, zum Laden in der Wohnung oder zum Reinigen oder zum SD Karte Wechsel. Hatte vor dem Kauf andere billige Vogelhäuser gekauft, Bitte macht nicht diesen Fehler da alle zurückgingen!!! Auch Solar Panel getestet und auch das war ein Fehlkauf…. ….Möchte Euch wissen lassen wie ich aus meinen Fehlern lernte. Bestellte das Hibird Vogelhaus und dachte mir ich kaufe gleich ein Standard 5W Solar-Panel dazu, wollte nicht immer alle 1-2 Wochen die Kamera per Hand aufladen. Wichtig laut Camojojo ist ein 5V Spanung am Ausgang, das dieses Panel hatte. Es vergingen ein paar Tage mit voll aufgeladenen Akku der Kamera, aber die Akku % gingen immer runter. Wetter war teilweise sehr schön aber auch mit Wolkigem Himmel. Meine Freude war vorbei und ich informierte mich warum. Die 5W Solarleistung sind zu wenig für die Kamera, schickte das Panel wieder zurück. Wer billig kauft, kauft 2mal…. Machte mich schlau, liess in vielen Gruppen / Forum / Internetseiten. und Studierte, fand dann dieses Panel (Xega 20W Panel) und ja es kostet das doppelte, hat aber 20W also 4mal so viel ist von sehr guter Qualität und es funktioniert auch bei schlechtem Wetter, es wird immer geladen. Das 1.Panel kostete mich 22€ und dieses 50€ aber es ist wie bei den Vogelhäusern, das Hibird ist auch seinen Preis gerecht was man bedenken sollte. Ich kann jedem der hier ein Solarmodul sucht, dieses empfehlen. Ich bin vollkommen überzeugt und Begeistert. PS. Werde noch Bilder hochladen damit Ihr einen Vergleich zur Größe sieht, denn das Panel hat schon größere Dimension. Vielen Dank für das lesen meiner Rezension

The product was cleverly packaged and very easy to assemble, making the whole setup process quick and stress-free. The only minor downside is the short USB-C charging cable, but the image and sound quality are excellent, and it’s very easy to use and manage the storage memory — overall, a fantastic product.

This bird feeder brings so much joy! The images are so clear and it's so much fun to watch. I had an issue with charging (discovered my own charging brick was faulty, so not the bird feeder problem). Contacted customer service and they replied promptly with several troubleshooting ideas. The problem was solved quickly. Lydia even followed up with me a few days later to see how it went. Top notch service and product! I highly recommend.

Birds love it took a couple of days for them to get used to it but now they’re on it all of the time
