Great glass leftover storage containers!
I love this set! I just should have checked the sizes. I could use a few bigger glass containers. Great item! Very durable. The seal is really tight. You can take the leftovers right from the fridge in microwave them. They are very easy to clean. I throw them in the dishwasher. They have a stackable design.

Good and sturdy containers
At fist I was confused because it said 18 pieces, and I thought they were 18 containers with their lids... Nope. It turned out that those 18 pieces included the lids, so you get 9 containers with their lids. Anyways, I have about a month of using these containers and I am glad I got them. I haven't tried putting them in the oven, but I can say they are sturdy (one of them fell down and didn't break). Lids are a bit hard to snap on, so be careful if you have a disability.

Great containers, just don't micro with the lid on
I've had these since 2018 & not a single problem with them until now. I'm a bit shocked by all the bad reviews. I've used these in the dishwasher, the microwave, the freezer. I always next them for storage so Idk why people are saying you can't stack them. I haven't been particularly gentle with them or treated them like they're fragile. I've not seen a single shard of glass this whole time. I don't know if I got lucky or what, but I love these containers. Because I can nest them to store them, they all fit nicely in a drawer. They do a brilliant job of keeping food fresh. I've started chopping a lot of my veggies when I buy them & storing them ready to use in these because they keep & stay crisp so much longer. They can sometimes be hard to close or open, so be aware if you have weaker hand. My 10yr old needs help sometimes, though most of the time he can do it. I've sometimes had to turn it on it's side to get better leverage but it always does what I want it to. I've been really happy with these, I'm only back to see if I can find replacement lids. I put one in the microwave, with the lid offset so it wouldn't get stuck. Except, it slipped into place and got very, very stuck. This has happened once or twice before, but never this bad. It was so sucked in & tight to the edge that after twenty minutes of trying to wedge something in between the lid & edge to break the seal I gave up & stabbed the thing. Let the air out & I'm having my lunch but now I'm down a lid. lol That isn't the container's fault though, that was user error.

Lids are somewhat difficult. Stack poorly. Heavy, solid quality and does seal well once closed.
Good quality/definitely seal well once you get them closed, but getting all four locked can be a hassle. They're also pretty heavy. Awkward to stack because of the various shapes not really fitting into one another. I would keep looking/wish I would have returned them, but they seemed good at first.

Good for refrigerator storage; HEAVY pieces.
We bought these for NON-pantry storage. We are devoted Lock & Lock lovers, but needed something in glass for sauces and oily foods--no way were we staining our beloved Lock & Locks with a curry or spaghetti sauce! QUALITY: Have found these to be well-made and very heavy, although the locks are not as water-tight as we'd have liked. However, this is wonderful as glass storage. Came well-packed and without any blemishes. We were astonished at the weight of the box--much sturdier than we'd imagined, for the price. SIZE/CAPACITY: Some of the containers are fairly small, but great for leftovers and we do appreciate the thickness of the glass. Not great for serving pieces, as most are smaller sized, but wonderful for keeping smaller meals for one if you are so inclined. Elderly parent uses one as a bento of sorts so she can quickly "heat-and-eat" a lunch from the previous night's dinner, easily made when putting away leftovers the night before. VERSATILITY: We have not frozen them and probably will not, although the glass is tempered and seems sturdy enough to withstand the temperature. I would not recommend baking in these, however microwaving has been fine. No ghosting, cracking, or chipping. SPACE HOGS?: When not in use, the same shapes do nest in each other, which is lovely if you're short of space. I do keep the foam protectors with which they are packed between each piece, though, to prevent chipping when not in use. BOTTOM LINE: Perfect for our purposes. Good value. Lids are counted as a piece; you are receiving 9 containers and 9 lids. Would definitely purchase again if needed, although these seem like they will last a good, long time!

Perfect product!
I love these containers! The glass isn't too thick to where it's heavy, and not too thin to where you feel uncomfortable about breakage. They look very nice in person because the lid isn't plastered with that bold blue label as shown in the picture, but rather embossed with the Glasslock name in the clear plastic. The lids can be a little difficult to snap on at first, but after a few times it gets easier. They also have a rubber liner the lids which are removable for cleaning, which is great! But it also enhances the seal on the container. A huge benefit of these over plastic containers is that they don't stain, they are much easier to clean, they are microwave safe (not the lids) because they don't chsnge the taste of your food or melt or release chemicals when heated, but most of all, you can SEE what's in your fridge! All the food is visible in these nice containers, nothing rotting in the back of your fridge anymore. The only thing I could ask for is that more were included! They are much cheaper than buying anything from the store, and it comes with a good variety of sizes and shapes. I love them so much and am so pleased with them I will be ordering another set.

I love these but can't hold on to them. Send a guest home with one and never see it again!
Solid, well made glassware that can be microwaved and frozen. Good snap on/off tops that prevent any leaks.

Warning!! Yet another case of glass shards in food!!!
I highly advise against Glasslock brand of glass container. I (like what seem to be many others) have found thin and extremely dangerous shards of glass in food stored in these containers. The quality of the glass is such that in normal use slivers of sharp glass break off and can easily turn up in food… and your digestive tract!! Earlier this week I warmed up some leftovers stored in one of these pieces in the oven. As I began eating the food in my first bite I felt myself bite down on something hard and sharp. I immediately spit out the bite assuming it was a piece of chicken bone. In the very next bite I bit down again and felt something unusual stuck in my gums between my teeth. Immediately my mouth started bleeding profusely. I am very, very, very glad I did not swallow (at least I hope nothing went down my throat). I ran to the bathroom and was very startled to see blood running heavily from my mouth. I attempted to rinse my mouth and every time I spit it was full of blood. It was absolutely shocking and terrifying. After investigating further I found one of the sources of the stream of blood in the center of my tongue. It was bleeding quickly and continuously. After finally stemming the blood flow I returned to the table to examine my dish and found an extremally dangerous shard of glass, like a needle or razor, amid my food. I was stunned and still am. In checking reviews of Glasslock’s products online I discovered that I was not the first to find shards of glass in their food. HOW CAN THIS HAPPEN MORE THAN ONCE BEFORE THE PRODUCT IS RECALLED??? This is extremally dangerous. WHAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED IF I HAD SWALLOWED THE SHARD OF GLASS??? It’s terrible to consider. We had several prepared meals stored in these containers and had to throw them all away, which is a real shame and waste. After realizing the serious dangers of this brand of product we do not even want to touch the food that has been in these containers. On top of this I am experiencing pain in my tongue and gums where I was pierced deeply by the glass shards from the container. Again, I am absolutely stunned to learn I am not the first to have experienced glass shards in my food from this product and that Glasslock still distributes this widely for customers and families to continue to use. Even after experiencing this injury and (and food waste!) I am realizing this was the LUCKY outcome! I really hope I did not end up swallowing any glass shards and shudder to think what internal damage or worse I would have faced if I did. This was a very possible outcome. WHY IS THIS PRODUCT STILL ON THE MARKET??? Glasslock is truly putting people’s health and safety at risk. See the attached photos of one of at least 3 shards discovered in my food. And no that’s not ketchup. I should have taken a picture of how much blood was in the sink. So, so glad I didn’t actually swallow this glass. I am done with this product and brand. Pyrex is probably the better choice. Their brand is reputable, over a century old, and made in the USA, unlike Glasslock containers which are made in Korea. Pyrex looks to be lower priced as well. I should add that in contacting Glasslock they were slow to respond and showed little concern for the serious hazards associated with their glassware. This glassware is extremally dangerous and I hope this review will spare others from the same experience I had or potentially much worse!!
