A great addition to my cookie making tools.
I have been married for 16 years, and I've been disabled for about the last 8 years. I am just getting to the point where I can begin to cook and bake again. I have never had tools such as these scoops to get my cookies all the same size or the correct amount of batter in mini muffins, or even mini muffin tins as far as that goes. So, I'm having a ton of fun throwing out the old and bringing in the new. I really like this scoop. It's the perfect size for a regular cookie. It seems to be designed well and is easy to use. It scoops dough without a fuss or having it stick to the scoop too badly. It's really easy to work with and seems to be designed to last. It was very well priced for the quality of what you get. I hope to get these in several sizes for various candy making needs.

My cookies have finally agreed on a standard size
Before this scoop, my cookie portions were based on intuition. Unfortunately my intuition apparently believed cookies should range from "delicate snack" to "regional landmark." This 2-tablespoon size produces nice uniform cookies, which means they also bake at roughly the same speed. The trigger releases dough without requiring me to scrape it from one spoon to another, which is easier on my hands. The stainless construction feels good quality, cleanup is simple and the blue handle makes it easy to spot. Useful for portioning plenty of foods, but mostly it has brought peace and order to the cookie population.

Great for cookies, terrible for melon balls, tears right through with the nubby on the top.
