I pretty much never write reviews, but this pillow is so great for me that I feel like I have to. I’ve got severe, uncontrolled asthma that’s been kicking my ass for over a year. My symptoms include shortness of breath very often but also body aches. When it gets bad, I’ll prop three regular pillows behind me and a thick one under my knees trying to get relief. It works okay, but the more often I had body aches, the more I realized I needed a different solution. So I started looking around and came across this. When I tell you it’s exceeded all my expectations, I’m not joking. I’m about 230 lbs, and I worried it would be too small for me. Nope. The size could work for someone even bigger. It supports all the spots that hurt the worst in the right places, the detachable headrest keeps me in a position where I can breathe easy, and it’s super comfortable. Things I didn’t know beforehand: the colored cover is soft as hell. I am in sensory heaven laying on it. It also has zippers so you can take the cushioning out and wash the cover. I have a dust mite allergy, so this is particularly amazing for me. The pillow comes in two pieces (three if you add the headrest) that zip easily into the cover. There’s no struggling with it. And if you ever want to remove or add stuffing in the future, the pillows themselves have zippers so you can do that too. There’s even strings on the covers so you can tie the pillow in half if you want to lay on it that way, as shown in the product pictures. This is the nicest pillow I have ever bought and my favorite by a landslide.

A few years ago I bought new furniture for my living room. I THOUGHT I wanted a big roomy recliner, so that is what I bought! It turns out that it was not comfortable for me at all. I am not a small person, but the seat was too deep and the headrest was too high. It hurt my back and neck, especially when I wanted to take a nap. Even when reclining, it caused my shoulders and neck to tilt forward at an awkward angle that hurt and restricted my breathing. I had to tuck pillows in the side to keep me from slipping sideways! I was at the point where I wanted to replace the recliner but was afraid I would get another one that would turn out to be uncomfortable too! Then I came across this pillow and thought it might work, so I decided to give it a try. It came in a small box and was very compressed, but expanded to full size very quickly and was easy to put together. There is a zippered core which allows extra stuffing to be added if necessary. Right now, the stuffing is perfect and I don’t need any more but might consider getting some to add in the future if needed! A velvety cover was included and easy to put on. The pillow comes in two pieces with a zipper to attach them together. At first I positioned the pillow with the smaller area at my back and sat within the larger area, but found it was better for me to switch it around and put the larger area to my back. It fits in my recliner better and supports my neck better that way. And what a difference it makes! It has made my recliner so much more comfortable! My arms rest on the sides much more comfortably than on the armrests of my recliner which keeps my shoulders from hurting. I no longer slide to one side, but stay comfortably nested in the pillow. I can nap comfortably now and am no longer thinking of replacing it! I am so pleased with my purchase! It is perfect for my needs! The open design doesn’t trap body heat so it doesn’t make my back too warm. I did not detect any smells and the gray color goes well with my decor.

I absolutely love this pillow. I do a lot of reading in bed as well as gaming and watching TV, and propping myself up with regular pillows was NOT cutting it. I've tried one of those traditional reading pillows with the super thick back and the arms, but I never found them very comfortable for long. I liked the donut design of this one, that my legs would also be elevated creating a more ergonomic sitting position, so I figured I'd give it a try. So far, I have been extremely pleased! It's very comfortable for it's intended purpose of sitting up in bed, but it's also doubled as a sleep pillow for me! I'm a side sleeper with hyper mobility, so I need a lot of bolsters when I sleep to keep everything aligned and comfy. Because the two sections of this pillow can be detached, that allows me to use it when I sleep as an additional support body pillow. So it's almost like I got two pillows for the price of one! I think it's a really nice pillow for the price, and so far I am very happy with it. Would definitely recommend.

Very sensory friendly, soft and supportive pillow for people with hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. It makes you feel like your body is being hugged. Just wish there was more head/neck support.

I was not expecting much from this pillow because I had been disappointed before, but I was so happy with it. I sometimes need to sleep semireclining without falling to the sides as I fall asleep. This pillow was perfect for that purpose and really comfortable. I especially liked that I could break it up into 3 separate pieces which all had excellent firmness to use as I chose. Excellent product!

Fantastic! I’ve been looking for a pillow/chair like this forever, purchasing and returning a few. that didn’t work along the way.. I need something that will allow me to read or watch TV in bed, sitting up, without sliding down on my pile of pillows, and ending up laying down. The fabric is soft and comfy. The inner pillows fluffed up within a day. The long zippers make it easy to put the cover on. I lean it against the wall and back the top part with a soft sleeping pillow, which adds an extra layer of comfort. And best of all, I can watch an entire movie in a stable sitting posture, with no repositioning. My long search is over!

I like the idea of this reading pillow because it gives support to your back and your legs. Once you settle in, it is really comfortable. The problem I have is that when I want to get out of it, it's a little difficult because I am so sunk down. It's also a little hard to store because it is big and doesn't fold or flatten easily. It is well made and the material is soft and cushions well. I just don't get it out as much as I thought I would because of the awkward way I have to get up out of it.

So this thing is the bomb, it’s way more supportive than those back pillows with the little arm rest things. And I feel tucked into it, it’s so cozy. I’m very glad I decided to treat myself to it.
