Excellent value for money, maglite torch. Excellent quality & durability. Bright light. Zoom feature excellent. Battery life good. Nice & light to hold & carry.

Present for my nephew, he loves it. Just the right size for keeping in his pocket. Great value for what is an iconic product.

Very compact with lots of power, the beam goes on forever, which can be adjusted. Good value for money. The one thing that let it down for me is the light, it's yellow, where I was expecting it to be white. Otherwise all is good 👍

Top quality torch

Very handy little light

Useful little torch. Uses 2 AA batteries. Useful to keep in an emergency as would light a small room for a few hours so you dont bump into things.

Great little torch, although I strongly suspect it’s a (very good) fake. What makes me suspect this? Take a look at my photos… 1) It’s much smaller (not as long) as my other genuine AA mini maglite. Genuine on the right, this one on the left. 2 ) take a look at the logo / typography. The genuine (lower one) has a much better quality, and the logo typography is correct, with very the correct close kerning / character spacing ( I’m a graphic designer so I notice the subtitles of typography) of the MAGLITE logo. 3) the internal threading on the genuine is way better - the black threading, it’s cleaner and the end cap screws in much more smoothly, this one is the bare aluminium threading. 4) the beam quality is on a different planet for the genuine torch (the rhs one). As I say, it’s very good if it is a fake, and I actually have no complaints as yet given the low price. Let’s see how it lasts in daily use. I may swap out the bulb for an LED for decent brightness, although it’s used mainly indoors so not strictly needed.

I have to give a 5-star review as the torch is excellent quality; there is no doubt of that. However, I don't recommend it as it has a xenon bulb rather than an LED. The problem is that it is turned on by twisting the front bulb housing. Immediately, the torch is on wide focus which leaves a dark patch in the middle of the beam. Even when focused to its sharpest, the beam is uneven. It's OK, but not more than that. It reminds me of the cheap torches I used to get in my Christmas stocking back in the 1960s. These days when you can buy excellent quality LED torches for a similar price, this technology is too far out of date and gives very inferior results.
