Carhartt Crossbody Snap Bag, Durable, Adjustable Crossbody Bag with Flap Over Snap Closure

All I wanted was a durable/waterproof tote bag for my sketching gear. I love being able to grab my sketching gear and go and this Carhartt bag enables me to do just that. I searched through many merchants' websites, product reviews, artists' recommendations, and considered many styles. And then I found this Carhartt Crossbody Snap Bag. Its simple design, medium size, and various pockets/section dividers enable me to safely carry my pens and pencils, sketchbooks, and other art supplies with ease. Who wants to do a wonderful sketch, stuff it in a carryall, get caught in an unexpected downpour, and find that your carryall isn't waterproof, and your precious drawing is ruined? The Carhartt bag is waterproof and designed for both durability and functionality. It has a sturdy/wide adjustable web strap and snap closure. The snap closure is designed to prevent/reduce accidental pulling the snap out of its fabric "anchor" place. 1/2 of each snap is attached to a "loop" that you hold when snapping or unsnapping. Carhartt is well known for its durable and functional gear and clothing. This bag lives up to Carhartt's reputation for quality products. Bag is sturdy and the snaps are perfect. I carry this and am male. My body shape doesn’t mesh with sling bags so I tried the messenger style bag. Typical Carhartt quality and just enough room to carry a few diapers and wipes, keys and wallet, a phone charger and my meds, and a little medi-kit. Can throw in a few extra snacks for the boy and a capri sun. Daily used and hasn’t shown signs of wear yet after a few months. The strap is also very comfortable on my shoulder/neck.

The material feels tough and long-lasting, just like you’d expect from Carhartt. It’s the perfect size for daily essentials, and the crossbody strap is comfortable to wear. Great balance of function and style.

Fits my Bible perfectly. Without excess pockets. It’s simple and practical. Better than most Bible cases. The only thing I would like to see is if the black bottom was a more durable piece of material vs. the same material in black. More of a personal preference than anything wrong. Needs more color variations.

Overall it is a great small bag for small items but a standard notebook and laptop will not permit the snaps to close. They fall around 3" short. It really seems well made and feels durable and wished the items I needed would have fit. I'll have to get a larger bag.
