I bought this as a treasure box for my son and he absolutely loves it. It looks really cool and feels special, which makes it fun for kids to use. The lock is a little difficult to open and close, so I do have to help him lock it, but that is the only downside. Other than that, it is a really neat treasure box and has been a big hit in our house. I would definitely recommend it for imaginative play or storing special treasures.

Made of wood and metal this chest is seriously cool. It’s handmade, sturdy, and good size. I love the heavy lock and keys. Good quality for the price. It’d be great for a gift or for yourself. I use it as a treasure chest of knickknacks and memories. Worth it!

I wanted to bury a treasure chest for my grandkids to discover after “finding” a treasure map wash up at our cabin. I originally ordered a smaller size and was hesitant to order the medium size due to it being more expensive than I wanted to spend, and reviews that it might not be a good idea to bury it. I decided to chance it and am so happy I did. The interior dimensions were still tight but I was able to get everything inside (barely) that I wanted included and close it. I did bury it after wrapping it in a small piece of tarp and only a day before I knew we’d be digging it up. It did fine and I’d say the quality and weight of the chest is excellent. Totally believable as a genuine pirate treasure chest. It was a SUPER FUN adventure and well worth all the money and effort I put in to pull it off. Core memory maker for both me and my grandchildren!

Nicely built except for the latch. Doesn't lay flat against the receiving latch. Other that that its a nice chest and great looking

Gorgeous, and perfect size to sit on my dresser. I BOUGHT THE midsize, its plenty big to hold all my jewlery, including another plastic case with 30 individual cases in it to hold each if my gauges.
