Great faceplate, great price
The 8 holes for screws is much better than the old plate I had with 4 holes/4 screws, and the fixed position of the holes allows for re-attachment at the exact same location if you remove the plate and need to put it back in position. Great price, rapid delivery, and quality product!

Great tool
These are very nice face plates. Simple is almost always better. It would have been nice if these had came with the screws already. But that's okay the local store has them. So not a big inconvenience. These are built very well. Nice thick walls offer a level of stability that thin cast just can't. The price was great so I bought two.

This is a completely functional unit. Not finished well, but it works.
It is made okay. It functions as it should. It could have been finished a little better than it was. The threads are accurate and the plate is perpendicular to the threads. The finish is what you would expect from being made a little to fast. Not enough time was taken for the cutter to cut cleanly, leaving more of a rough, torn surface. Like a rush job from a machine shop does.

Nothing to dislike
I needed a faceplate that I could dedicate to an MDF jamb chuck. This is a good basic faceplate that fits my Jet 1221VS and runs true. It leaves nothing to be desired and the price was fair, hence 5 stars.

Truly Top Shelf!
High quality face plate for under 20 bucks! I have been face plate turning since I started turning 7 years ago and have read stories where the author flatly stated that face plate turning was outdated. Really? 800 bowls later and I am still enjoying it, and now I can take advantage of small bowl turning and add another aspect of wood work to my hobby.

This 3 inch faceplate is turned true and works very well on all four of my wood lathes. the threads are smooth and the finish is good.I rate it with five stars. From the tool man Tim with over fifty years of experience in wood working.

More holes than was shown in the product picture which is good. Fit the lathe perfectly and seems better than the OEM one that came with the lathe. It works.
