My new favorite chip!
These Popchips are seriously addictive in the best way. The sea salt flavor is perfectly balanced light, crispy, and salty without being overwhelming. They have that satisfying crunch without feeling greasy or heavy like regular potato chips.I also love that the individual bags are perfect for lunches, road trips, work snacks, or just grabbing on the go. Every bag tasted fresh, and the portion size is great when you want a snack without overdoing it.Definitely one of my favorite chips Iโve tried in a long time. Will absolutely be ordering again!

From a picky eater - I love these
I was a little hesitant to try these, especially after reading such mixed reviews although overall they were positive. However, I liked the idea that they are healthier than regular chips and I figured they would be great for school lunches, quick snacks, etc. I decided to give them a try and figured if we did not like them, they could be donated. I ordered a mixed case the first time around to see which flavors we liked more (or less) and thought that would give us a good sampling. After deciding we liked most of the flavors, we decided to try other ones as well.Despite the flavor preferences, these chips do not taste like cardboard. At first taste, they are a little crunchier and thicker than you might expect. I think this is a good thing, because it means they are not heavily-laden with oil. The 0.8 oz bags are 100 calories each as well, which is much better than the other alternatives and gives you the enjoyment of chips without the extra calories, trans fat, etc.I have included a summary of opinions below from myself, friends and family for each flavor:Sea Salt & Vinegar - Great, the absolute favorite flavor for everyoneBBQ - Very good, I'm not crazy about BBQ to begin with but would say this flavor is "sweet" BBQ. Everyone else loved them.Cheddar - Very Good, probably close in preference to the BBQOriginal Potato - Good, but a little salty (seems to fluctuate somewhat between bags)Salt & Pepper - Good, everyone liked them but preferred other flavors moreParmesan Garlic - Good, but overall was 50/50. You definitely taste more parmesan than garlic and most people were expecting the latter.Sour Cream & Onion - Not so good, no one really liked these enough to want more or to even finish the bagI know taste is a very subjective thing, but I hope this review helps someone decide to give these a try. I did get them at a reduced price through subscribe & save, and shortly after my first order, Amazon had them on the Gold Box for an even better price. I think the average price per bag came out to approximately forty six cents a bag and had free shipping under my prime account.

MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE CRUNCHY, SALTY SNACK!
I have tried Sun Chips, Pita Thins, both really good, but THESE ARE MY ABSOLUTE FAV!PROS:TASTE - SEA SALT is my favorite of their flavors. Great to just snack on, crumble up on mac n cheese or even on top of a sandwich, great crunch!QUALITY - LOVE it's LOW FAT, LOW CAL, NOT FRIED I get the INDIVIDUAL small bags, and can eat two for a total of 200 calories! REALLY SATISFIES my CRUNCHY SALTY CRAVINGS!PRICE - GREAT PRICE for how many bags you get.CONS: NONE but these are addictive! Can be hard to stop at just a bag or two of the little individual bags!

Great alternative to boring regular potato chips!
It seems that everytime I fly to visit my parents, my father goes overboard with buying hotdogs. I haven't quite figured out if that's because he is under the impression that I love hot dogs, or simply because he uses my presence as an excuse to buy hotdogs for himself. At any rate, I decided to look for a somewhat "healthier" snack that would compliment a quick hotdog meal. After a few searches I decided to try out the popchips original style potato chips with sea salt.According to the product information, these chips contain no fake colors, no fake flavors, no fluorescent orange fingertips, no gluten, no cholesterol (good or bad), and no wiping greasy fingers. I am not fully convinced that I can agree with the last statement, as my hands do sometimes end up being greasy. I also found it rather neat how these chips are made, which is using heat and pressure opposed to the traditional method of frying or baking them. The serving size of 0.8-ounce is the perfect size for a quick snack or a great way to compliment certain meals such as hotdogs as I mentioned earlier. Unlike eating traditional potato chips, these chips never give me the "full stomach" sensation. The size of the chip itself is about the same size as the average potato chip, and has a nice crispy/crunchy texture to it. Without knowing that these are made from potatos, I would have probably guessed that it is some sort of healthy rice chip. If my memory serves me correctly each bag only has around 100 calories, which is a definite bonus considering these chips don't taste like what you expect a low calorie food to taste like. Though I personally had no problem with the salt level in these chips, I decided to deduct one star due to the fact that all my family members and friends who tried these chips told me the salt level is intolerable. As tasty as I found these chips to be, I thought it would be best to mention this fact so people that have a low sodium tolerance can steer clear of these chips or at least avoid the larger packs until they had a chance to try them.Quick Summary:I gave these chips a 4 star rating as they are extremely delicious for a low calorie snack, yet I have gotten a lot of complaints regarding the level of salt in these chips and therefore decided to deduct one star. I recommend that if you have a low tolerance for sodium that you stay clear of these chips, as the amount of salt can be a bit too much.Pros:-Low Calorie Snack-Very tasty, hard to believe this is a low calorie snack-A texture that is puffy, crispy, and crunchy-Serving size of 0.8oz is the perfect snack size-Doesn't give me the "Heavy stomach" sensation that some other potato chips do-Gluten free-No artificial flavors or coloring-No preservatives-Heat and Pressure cooked, never fried or bakedCons:-Many people have complaint to me about the chips being too salty-Not entirely convinced that these chips leave your fingers "grease free"Overall I still recommend these chips as they are a great tasting and light alternative to regular potato chips. I would suggest that the people who are sensitive to high sodium levels try purchasing an individual bag and see if these chips are to their liking before commiting to a 24 pack.

Seed oil culprits!
Loved the chips, but hate that they used seed oil...now I can't buy them anymore.

LOVE these with one caveat
I am surprised just how yummy these chips are and my kids ADORE them. They have no artificial anything which is important as my kids are on the Feingold diet which eliminates all artificial coloring, preservatives, and flavors. The only thing that kept me from a higher star rating is the choice of oil they used to coat the chips. I have NO PROBLEM with oil as I believe fat is GOOD for us and the great thing is they coat the chips with oil AFTER they heat them so they don't create free radicals. That said, the ingredient list says, "sunflower, safflower, and/or canola oil." Hmmmm... that's not very definitive!Sunflower and safflower oil are good but canola is a FRANKENFOOD that I don't want my kids to eat. Sigh... a yummy possibility spoiled by canola oil.
