I was very impressed at how well this was packed for shipping. Was worried at some of the other reviews stating parts if the box were crushed or open since this is a heavy item. Mine came pristine with place shrink wrap still on. I unpacked and everything was very well protected in the packaging. It seems there were screws which should make the feet stationary missing, but everything else was great! Set up took 15 mins. It is heavy, so dont try and move by yourself. I really like the smooth action which happens in the raising and lowering. My projector is supposed to arrive tomorrow, then the real work begins!

I bought this screen to pair with my AWOL 3000 projector in hopes to watch movies/tv in a lit room. The black screen is perfect for just that! Just like watching a big screen television. Looks even more amazing and vivid in darker rooms; having the option to use during the day and night is wonderful! The base that the screen rolls into is pretty heavy but works great. It is also sturdy and doesn't break easily. I know because I used it outside on a slightly windy day and it blew over (twice) despite the base being as heavy as it is. It fell over on a storage container that I was using to prevent the screen from blowing over and the screen didn't tear or break. I wish it came with some type of supporting poles to prevent it from falling over in windy weather. That is the only suggestion I would make but overall, a fantastic purchase! Would by again if I had to do it all over again. One more thing, it comes with a usb dongle that links the screen with the projector...so when it is turned on/off, it raises and lowers accordingly. Customer service is also great as they replaced my usb dongle that broke when my screen fell over.

Well, it does take a while to arrive, once it arrives, it works out of the box. Ours seem to have some issues, though out of the box that were pretty minor at first, such as the screen lid, not fully retracting or seating properly. Nothing major and I didn’t really seem to affect its functioning. However, it did end up having the arm on the back of it break at the joint. That said, the customer service has been top-notch. When I contacted them because I was having issues with the screen wrinkling, they sent me some strips to put on it to fix that problem. A few weeks ago when the arm on the back broke, all I had to do was send pictures and video showing this defect and they sent me a new screen to replace it. I don’t know if they change the motors that they were using, but this motor is much quieter than the first screen I had from them. So I would definitely say they hold to their warranty claims in customer service. I would also say that this is such a specialty product that there’s probably not too too many options out there, and I certainly don’t know what to compare it to. It is disappointing that it broke only six months after getting it, but my hope is is that the replacement screen manages to last. I suppose it is possible that it was a fluke or that it was damaged in shipping that caused the arm to break on the first one.

High Quality construction. Met my expectations. Only issue: the feet slide on the rails with no provider fasteners to secure them on the rails.

1/25/2026 : So AWOL did reach out to us with a number of ways to resolve, and a troubleshooting guide. We followed instructions to leave the screen unopened for a few days to let the temperature stabilize, but that did not fix the problem. Next we stuck on one of the provided carbon fiber sticks to the back of the trouble area of the screen, and it did indeed remove the large crease, but, as you can see in the new pictures (with no image on the screen), the carbon fiber strip does leave a horizontal indent in the screen at a number of places, due to it being rolled up with the screen. The instructions state that these strips are to be used as the screen ages, so we are a little concerned about the screen showing age already. Additionally, we are worried if the carbon fiber strip will cause worse indentations over time, possibly leading to tearing. So, while we are happy with the viewing experience of the screen, we are still a bit concerned about longevity …. So, for now we will give it three stars, as we decide what to do about the screen. 12/3/2025 : The screen works and looks great. There are some minor ripples on the edges, which are ok for us, because you can’t really see them during operation. However, there’s a huge ripple on the left edge of the screen that looks awful in menus, and is very distracting in some scenes. It shows up as a large black shadow during bright seems, and just deformed images in others. Other than that, the quality is great, it really improves contrast over a bare wall, so I highly recommend this as an idea. Love the floor rising aspect. I wish the would also be clear on exactly what the weight is. I made two 4x12 feet that are 8.5” high by going to a lumber yard and having it cut to that size. Screwed the legs on to the brackets. Now I can put stuff under the screen. The projector sits on the floor— at 120”, it has to be on the floor for optimum viewing and avoiding neck strain (spent a week testing many heights). Anyway, that big ripple on the left edge is an eye sore. I’ve reached out to AWOL for help, and hope there’s a solution , will update.

This screen is great. Designed for short throw projectores placed on bottom of screen. It allows you to watch with the lights on without picture being washed out. This screen has blockouts to keep the lights from above from washing out the picture. The screen looks cool coming up from the floor instead of the usual coming down from ceiling. The mechanism is smooth up and down and when fully up has no sags. Im in the theater buisness and have seen alot of screens and this one tops them all

The screen worked fine, it was super easy to set up and appeared to be pretty stable. But we sent it back because it was enormous! It didn’t fit into what we thought was a big enough room. We had to move chairs back another 5 feet to fully process what was going on in the picture. Unless you have a huge entertainment area, consider getting a smaller screen.

I use this with my AWOL Valerion Vision Master Max, and I couldn’t be happier. I appreciate the little USB remote transmitter that plugs into the projector and raises/lowers the screen when the projector is powered up/down.

Verwende die Leinwand in Kombination mit dem Hisense PT1 Kurzdistanz Beamer. Das Bild ist richtig gut. Keine Wellen vorhanden. Die Verarbeitung ist sehr hochwertig. Filme in 3D auf 100Zoll zu schauen machen einfach Mega Spaß[z.B. Everest ein Yeti will hoch hinaus]. Selbst wenn der Raum mit einem Fenster[Rollladen zu 50% heruntergelassen] kann man noch sehr gut das Bild wahrnehmen. Getestet mit Sky Sport UHD[Formel 1 live in HDR] & Sky Sport F1. Man kann sogar ganz schwach im Raum verteilt Licht anlassen[Philipps Hue].

Be aware this screen the 100” one is extremely heavy, Screen is very and I mean very well made Easy to setup and use The image size is just stunning blows your mind, image quality is absolutely amazing so clear and sharp, just puts a smile on my face every time I use it

اختبرتها بالاضاءة وبدون اضاءة ،، الجهاز من نفس الشركة awol 3000 pro بصراحة اكثر ماكنت متخوف منه عمق السواء .. جربت البرجكترات بتقنيات مختلفة وكان عمق السواد اكثر عيب فيها ولكن مع awol واقصد الشاشة والبرجكتور الاسقاط القريب يعطيك عمق سواد اقل من شاشات الاوليد لكن وبكل صدق افخم من كل البروجكترات اللي جربتها سابقا الالوان مبهرة بصراحة خاصة مع ضوء خافت تتغير شوي مع الاضاءة الساطعة للغزفة ولكن انا طبيعتي احب المشاهدة في ضوء خافت جدا وماعندي مشكلة اطلاقا مع اطفاء اللمبات الصوت عند رفع واغلاق الشاشة صوت مقبول جدا مع الشاشة يو اس بي تراقر يشبك بالبروجكتور وتصير الشاشة اوتامتيك تفتح وتغلق مع تشغيلك البروجكتور الشاشة تدعم اخفاء سماعات السنتر تحديدا لان الجزء الاسود السفلي بورفورايشن مخرم وهالميزة يحتاجها الكثير خاصة لو سماعة السنتر عندك ماتاخذ مساحة وتقدر تخفيها خلف الشاشة انصح بالشاشة بلا شك واتمنى اني وفقت ولا بالغت ولا ظلمت المنتج

The Awol Vision 100’ Screen was so easy to set up, on fact there is none really apart from attaching the feet, it’s genuinely a case of unboxing, plugging in, and you’re ready to go. Theres a usb dongle which slots neatly into the projector and automatically rises and lowers in sync with the projector powering on or off, which feels very slick and well‑designed, you just have to set a memory level and it remembers every time. The picture quality is outstanding. Colours are vibrant, contrast is excellent, and the image stays sharp and beautifully detailed whether you’re watching in a bright room or with the lights down. It handles different lighting conditions far better than I expected, and the overall clarity really makes films and games feel immersive. The unit itself is thoughtfully designed too. The bottom panel allows space for a soundbar, or other devices to sit behind it without blocking anything or affecting performance and allows the remotes to work and control the devices. Everything works together seamlessly. Delivery was smooth and quick considering its size. It is Heavy so does require 2 people to move it. All in all it’s a fantastic product and I’m very happy with it.
