Lolita Soundtrack

I bought this solely for the opening track which had a beautifuldissonant piano sound in the original dvd. The soundtrack justhad a plain piano melody, so the essence of that piece of music disappeared.In Platoon s-track, the sound of gunfire was left in, overlappingthe Adagio by Barber, but at least the music was not tampered with.Otherwise the cd is very good.

A sheer masterpiece

The music to this soundtrack is exeptional. Emotional and beautiful it will take you back to the movie and tap into what you may be going through at the time. Brilliant.
