Fast drive with lots of space
I bought this in April 2024 so it’s been over a year and a half and the drive is running well. I’ve never heard of this brand for some reason but I understand they’ve been around for quite a while and I’ve had no problems with this drive. It’s actually very fast. I use it on my Mac mini and it recognized it very quickly. I formatted it to the format I wanted and I’ve never had a problem with it. Large amounts of data mov very quickly. I also bought a 6 TB version as well. This company seems to be very solid and I would purchase this brand again.

Nice hard drive for the price
The price and the space were almost too hard to believe. I wasn't born yesterday, buddy. I know you're going to send me a cheap piece of junk....but NOOOO! I was wrong and happily so. I use this hard drive to hold all of my media for my Plex Server and its great. The speed is fast. The case and LED lights are aesthetically pleasing on my desk. It's small enough that it tucks right in next to my desktop. I dumped my old HD onto it and downloaded another few TB's of media and it's still has more space free than my last HD had altogether. I was worried by some of the reviews but have no fear. This drive is great! It's fast enough to stream all of my media at HD or 4K over WiFi and remotely to my followers with no lag. If you are thinking this is too good to be true...you'd be wrong like I was. Bite the bullet and buy one. You won't be disappointed.

Exactly what I needed
Excellent external storage. Been running it since July of 2024 with no issues, use it mostly for running local AI models without worrying about running out of space. Great buy, worth the purchase!

Cheap, slow, reliable, but not perfect
Good cheap mass storage. But not without issues. Somehow it frequently locked out my wireless keyboard. Don't know why but eventually figured out if i shut it off except when using it the problem went away. Slow but reliable with lots of space for low price. Recommendable for someone who needs cheap storage and doesn't mind slow speed and possible inconvenience like my keyboard problem.

Great drives for media storage.
So far so good. This is the second large Avolusion drive I've purchased for a media server. These make great secondary backup drives. If you've ever had a primary storage drive fail without a backup, you understand why you never store data without a backup solution. These big drives are perfect for this, and they are relatively fast as well. 5 stars!

Works great. AND the GoHardDrive warranty people were great too! I had some questions and their response was as they promised in their warranty statements: "We will make you smile again."
