Barnyard Designs Natural Coco Coir Non-Slip Doormat (17x30, Chaos)

This doormat is excellent. I have bought several coir mats in the past from other companies and this one is one of the best! The thickness is very important to me and this mat is thicker than most mats online, but a little thinner than the mats you buy in a store. I am very happy with the thickness of this one because it feels heavy duty and looks well made. I am also happy with the size. It sheds a little when you’re handling it, but not when it’s in its spot. It feels soft under the feet, yet sturdy enough to use as an outdoor mat. I placed it on another decorative rug and it doesn’t slip around very much. Most rugs do move around. The design that’s painted on seems well done. It’s dark and thick leading me to believe it won’t wear off. I am extremely happy with this coir mat and recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, quality mat.

Doormats do not last forever as I found out this year when my 30 year old doormat went from being a great mat for cleaning off shoes before entering the home...to a potential tripping hazard. This new mat from Barnyard Designs is sturdy, good looking and stays in place with the rubber base.

Wow! Very impressed. This is a solid, thick, rich looking floor mat. Great for the front door entrance. Not cheap like most of the other ones that are sold on Amazon. It really makes a great first impression for your guests.Definitely recommend.

Very cute and cool one

Zero stars! (App makes you choose one star to submit review.) The mat is pretty much as advertised, except for one big thing that makes it totally unacceptable. It leaks a staining brown fluid when it gets wet. We live in a dry climate. Our front porch rarely gets very wet, even in the winter. This week a combination of hosing off the front porch and Spring thunderstorms thoroughly wet the porch and mat. I’m pretty sure this was the first time the mat got a soaking. Once wet the mat bled some kind of brown fluid that soaked in and stained our nice clean concrete front porch. I have scrubbed, soaped and hosed to try to get the stuff off the porch. No luck so far. It seems to have soaked into the concrete and stained it. (Picture shows staining after attempt at cleaning.) Have no idea what to do next short of power washing or painting the concrete. Maybe just have to live with it? I can’t believe someone else hasn’t experienced this damaging issue. Front door mats get wet all the time. You should be able to expect an outdoor mat to withstand a soaking without causing damage to the floor beneath it. Avoid this product or make sure the brown stuff is rinsed completely out of it before using it. (Supplier should be doing this.) This is not okay.

I bought this to try and get a more "natural" product for my entry. I needed a larger size and this one fit the bill. I really like the way it looks on my stoop and how well it fits the space. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the rubber backing. I realize that it's a safety feature, to keep it from slipping.

Only type of outside door mat we ever use. Perfect for dogs’ feet and mud- all I have to do is hose it off. We have another one at the back door. They don’t bunch up or fly away in the wind/rain (years ago, I had a cotton blend one end up 3 doors down from our house after a rain storm).

Je suis très satisfait de ce paillasson. Il est bien conçu, solide et donne une belle apparence à l’entrée. Les fibres de coco semblent efficaces pour retenir la saleté et aider à nettoyer les chaussures avant d’entrer dans la maison. J’apprécie également son dos robuste, qui lui permet de bien rester en place et lui donne une impression de durabilité. Sa taille et son épaisseur sont aussi adéquates pour une utilisation quotidienne. Petit point négatif : comme plusieurs paillassons en fibre naturelle, il peut perdre quelques fibres au début de son utilisation. Dans l’ensemble, c’est un bon produit, à la fois pratique, esthétique et robuste, que je recommande sans hésiter.
