Great for woodturning.
I bought this to encase scrap wood or other pieces that are oddly shaped/cracked/etc before turning them on my lathe (I HATE wasting wood). Almost finished with the first bottles I bought and already have another set for when that runs out. A few things I've figured out while experimenting with it: -The temperature has a big impact on curing time, so if your workspace isn't temp controlled, pay attention to the weather if time is an issue. I've poured it with daytime highs as low as 70F and as high as 98F and had cure times range from 3 days to overnight respectively. (temps at night generally drop ~20ish degrees here) -While the resin doesn't form many bubbles as a result of the curing process, I'd strongly recommend using a pressure pot if your project will allow it. It's very easy to get bubbles in the resin when mixing or pouring it and, due to its consistency, if the medium you're incasing isn't smooth it's very easy to have voids you don't detect until it's too late. There's no mention in the instructions for using a pressure pot, but I've found that putting it under ~45 PSI overnight will eliminate any bubbles formed while mixing, push it into any voids, and result in a crystal-clear finished project. It also removes any need for the heat gun treatment the instructions recommend. -Mostly a concern if you're going to use it on a lathe, but it will chip if you get too aggressive with it before you finish rounding off your piece (yea, I use a round mold, but anyone that claims they get their pieces perfectly centered on the lathe isn't telling the truth). -Wood floats in this resin, so if you're using it to encase wood, figure out a way to keep it where you want it before pouring. -It can be sanded if needed but will clog up sandpaper fast. After the final sanding with a fine grit, use beeswax and a paper towel to restore transparency.

Very Good Deep Pour Epoxy
I specialize in making river tables for clients around the US and have primarily used Liquid Glass Deep Pour for my projects. I saw this product and couldn't ignore the price, so I decided to give it a whirl. I'm going to attach pics of the tables I made specifically with this product so that you can get an idea of both my work and the final look. The cure time is similar to Liquid Glass: within 48 hours, the epoxy is around 85% cured. Within 96 hours, it's totally cured and ready for flattening with a router sled. Its consistency is a bit more viscous than Liquid Glass; whereas LG is like water, this product has the consistency of ketchup when mixed. I actually like that as it's more forgiving to any small gaps in the mold and gives you time to remedy those, than scramble to find a bucket to catch the leaks. I'm knocking off a star for two reasons: - I don't know what to make of the amount listed, but this is more like 10-11 liters of product instead of 3 gallons. I use 5-gallon HDX buckets with the volume shown on the side, and this product has consistently fallen short of 3 gallons. - There have been a few small areas that haven't fully cured. They're extremely small and have been few and far between. I can touch them up by mixing them with a 2-part epoxy to help them fully cure, but I have not had any issues with LG fully curing across the entire pour. I mix this with a 5-gallon automated paint mixer for 6 minutes, so there shouldn't be any issues with insufficient mixing time. Overall I've been pleased with this product and would recommend it. I still prefer Liquid Glass, but I would recommend this over other brands like FlowCast that tends to yellow pretty significantly.

Great product. Will use again.
Worked out perfectly for my first deep pour. My daughter and I built her a desk for her room and I had zero issues with my inch pour. No air bubbles or discoloration.

Easy to you for a thick pour epoxy.
Super clear. Super hard easy to us. Epoxy. Nice thing about this epoxy is most bubbles pop on there own so yiu dont have to hit it with a torch or heat gun all day. Easy and safe for thicker pours. I have yet to have this epoxy go thermal or crack on me. Takes color extremely well with a flawless finish. I don’t notice any smells coming off of it the curetime can be longer but I pour in a colder area. I have poured over 100 gallons of this product and it hasn’t let me down yet.

Just garbage
I've done 15 other large epoxy projects with different products prior to ordering this stuff and never have I had so many problems like with this product I based my purchase on the reviews and the price, both bad decisions This stuff is absolute garbage The main project for this product was a 3/4” thick X 9’ counter top I attempted to pour the counter in 2 pours The first 1/4” pour would be to ensure the fabric backing didn’t float to the top The first pour took 7 hours to start to set…. I poured this late May in AZ it should have been plenty warm for the product to set up faster The second pour 1/2” thick looked perfect but 8 hours later was still tacky and the entire surface wrinkled overnight as it set up I let the entire project sit for 10 days, after 10 days I started to demold to counter, the mold wouldn’t release…..I had to spend hours fighting the mold with power tools When I started to sand the entire counter due to the wrinkly bad cure a crack has formed across the middle of the entire 9’ of counter that is STILL tacky I’m attempting to move forward with this counter but so far I’m pretty sure I wasted $500 on this trash product that will never be right
