Can I use this to put in soft dirt to keep cats out. I have large 24" pots with cucumber plants and cats get in them. Can I cut the fence.

This fence material would be too rigid to work with to cover pots to keep cats out. I would suggest a more pliable screening material from hardware store---like chicken wire

Will it keep out squirrels?
