I wish they sold this formulation in the United States. It has kind of algae which form a raft atop your stomach contents that prevents acid from moving back up your esophagus. That combined with the antacid reduction and overall quantity of acid makes for a perfect remedy to heartburn and mild acid reflux.

These are far superior to regular Gaviscon! They work instantly!

Prone to heartburn especially after a spicy meal and this has always worked for me. Calms it almost immediately. I will say if I wait just a bit to long before taking I will have to use at least 2-3 for it to work.

This product is worth the price . I use it often and it always takes care of the throat

Works great for acid reflux

This product works great for me for "as needed" acid reflux relief (usually middle of the night attacks). The chewable foamtabs effectively form a barrier to help keep stomach acid in your stomach and out of your esophagus. The taste is pleasant, but honestly I'd be happy with any flavor to get these results. My product arrived in good condition and with a generous expiration date. It is a pricey option compared to locally sold OTC options (it's sold in Canada), so if you want this level of relief, it comes at a premium. As some other reviewers have noted, the product does contain some sodium. In my state of health, taking a couple of foamtabs as needed isn't a problem. But if you use more product and/or have a sodium sensitivity, it might be. I definitely recommend consulting your doctor to ensure you don't have issues or conflicts with the product's active ingredients and/or the sodium level. This works great for me for "as needed" use and I'm so happy I found it. I recommend it, but encourage you to be an informed consumer concerning your own health situation.

Always be sure to buy the one with algae in it.. It's called alginic acid derived from brown seaweed! i had a friend who's also a doctor turn me on to this when I had serious reflux. subsided within seconds after chewing 2 of these. i'm never without them now...
