These Meross products just get better and better. I've got loads of smart switches and sockets now, they're so good. The previous items I've bought were super easy to add in the app, these are even easier - absolute child's play. The energy monitoring feature is a bit of an eye opener and a great feature. You can set up routines and automations, tue in with Alexa for voice commands etc they're brilliant Using these ones to automatically turn on/off our Christmas lights All delivered super fast by Amazon

These units are good for interfacing with a light switch making any normal fitting capable of remote control, schedules etc. There is a need for a Neutral feed to the unit so you cannot simply put it in line with the existing switched live without having a neutral source as well to power the unit. What is also good is the ability via the Meross App to map the switch to other devices so turning the light off could turn something else on or off. A real bonus is being able to use this unit for other applications - all you need to turn it on or off is mains live trigger - I have 3 units currently switched via a mains relay and a 1k resistor. Lots of opportunities to integrate with other stuff!

When it's working properly, this is a pretty great product. Low latency means that it switches lights on faster than some of my Hue bulbs. But... it's not reliable. I've got 4 of these (two sets) and they all fairly frequently go offline and aren't controllable by either HomeKit or the meross app. Sometimes they come back online by themselves after a random period of hours/days, but usually they require a power cycle (which means going to the circuit breaker in the garage). Because of the regular issues I wouldn't recommend this product

I love Meross. They just work - easy setup, easy app. I bought these to replace some other WiFI mini switches that didn’t do what they said in the listing - should have just trusted the experts in the first place… …the reason I didn’t was because I was unsure on the wiring. A quick email exchange with Customer Service and I understood how to achieve what I needed. Great response. All installed and linked up robustly to Alexa - just like all my other Meross stuff 👍🏻

Does not work with typical UK light switches which lack a neutral wire (not to be confused with the green/yellow earth). If your light switch only has 2 wires connected to the existing switch, one black, one red, then the unit will not be able to power on. I will give only 1 star because this is not made clear in the product description, although the product may work fine if you have the extra wire I could not verify this.

These switches are great for the price—easy to set up and simple to use. Anyone invested in the Apple ecosystem will truly appreciate how well they integrate and perform.

Work great, basically a smart 2Way switch. IT does require a neutral to work, if you don't have one in the switch put it in or behind the light fitting, one of mine is in the ceiling void. works great.

Meross seems to be getting more and more in reliable. Have two of these, both similar distance to a WiFi router. One works flawlessly. One works 50% of the time - when it doesn’t is when it leaves garden lights on all night shining through bedroom windows. Then only way to switch off is leaving house and going into garage.
