Hopefully they'll help slow the progression of macular degeneration, only time will tell. been taking these for a short while but so far no side effects. It's an easy to swallow gel caplet with no taste.

Affordable supplement. Along with daily aspirin and weight loss, MD has improved drastically.

I didn't expect this item to show up the same day I put in my order. Kudo's to Amazon for that. Checking the ingredients, they are the same in size, shape, and potency as the store bought Preservision brand. I take two per day and will have to set up for receiving this product every two months. My pharmacy doesn't have the Areds since they are not a prescription item and the item I used to have to buy (Systane iCaps) are no longer available to purchase and really were so much more expensive. I know there are other brands sold on Amazon for a low price, but they are mostly in 60 gel caps per jar.

Large gel tablet but easy to swallow. Recommend for my failing eye sight. will see... pardon the pun
