It works.
I had 3 bike shops tell me my mtn derailleur would not work with road shifters on a 11ร42 cluster. Until one shop told me about the Tanpan. I added the goat link and a few barrel adjustments and it works perfect. Not rattling or clicking.

The answer to my problem
I was using shimano brifters with a mtb rear derailleur on my gravel bike build. Long story short, the cable pull ratios did not match up and using this fixed my problem.

Works fine in combo with Shimano RD-M6000-SGS derailleur and MicroSHIFT 10 speed bar end shifters.
