Airfix A01008B Messerschmitt Bf109E-4 Classic Kit Plastic model kits

Satisfait de la maquette, mais certaines pièces sont vraiment fragiles... enfin, c'est une maquette, pas un jouet. Les decals sont de bonnes qualité comme sur les autres kits airfix que j'ai fait, pas de souci de moulage et montage, mais la cloison de la verrière a été omise dans les instructions, par contre.

No es comprensible que envíen una maqueta sin envoltorio protector. La maqueta viene tal cual, con la etiqueta de la dirección pegada en la caja, que cuesta mucho despegar y no queda bien después el dibujo artístico del modelo. Además venía aplastada por un lado, al no tener protección. Menos mal que por lo menos el kit está bien. Las empresas que venden maquetas de modelismo deberían entender que también sus cajas originales forman parte de la colección.

Airfix has come a long way in the quality of their kits since I made them 35 years ago. This model (kit number- A01008B) was my first proper attempt after getting one the starter sets with paints included a few moths ago and decided I wanted to start making them again. The instructions are easy to follow and was quite simple to make. I think I rushed it a bit but with more experience I'll take more time and get better quality. I forgot how small 1:72 scale is, this model easily fits within my hand, maybe just my hands have grown since being a young lad because nothing else seems to have. I didn't know when I picked this kit to make that there's an interesting story to the actual plane this model is made to look like with the paint scheme. There's photos of it on the internet and just so happened to be a photo of it outside the city hall in my home town and a story about the pilot and the painted out swastika on the tail, quite interesting I thought. I think the paint scheme is too difficult for a beginner so I had to change it to a pattern I could manage. The paint scheme requires you to do a 'mottled' effect but I'm not at that skill level yet. This kit only has 1 paint scheme when they mostly come with 2 so that's why I only gave 4 stars. I did like the quality of the kit and already have purchased another Airfix kit. I think the kit is well worth it for under £10 .
