After I'm Gone: An absolutely addictive emotional family drama with a heartbreaking twist

Stunning writing! This book rips your heart out, page after page and leaves you shaking. Parts of my life, my buried heartbreaks, came pouring up and out to the point that at times it was difficult to breathe. I am left with the need to face them and try to deal with the pain I thought long gone, as did the main character. The author pulls you into the pages, whether you like it or not, and makes you feel things you probably would rather not. Extremely and skillfully well-written.

Took me awhile to get through this book but I enjoyed it. Interesting plot twists kept me reading instead of putting it aside.

This book had a grip on me clear to the end. Hard to put down. However, some of the final conclusions left me mystified and dissapointed.

So many twists and turns that I never saw coming! Does discuss some heavier topics: divorce, aborti*n, de@th, but a great read that’s ends so well.

There are books that I have to make myself read through but feel like cheating and just reading the last chapter but Ms. Boyds books I properly lose myself in. She keeps her stories gripping from beginning to end

I can’t say that I loved the book, but I found it to be interesting. There twists and turns. Some surprised me.
