This product feels good- I have had various cotton and metallised reflective ironing board covers but this one feels so good and holds the cloth so well I recommend it. I used a 6 mm felt underneath which seems enough on a lattice steel board it works particularly well for synthetics like ripstop nylon - I am a Kite maker I iron sheets of ripstop more than my shirts . The peripheral draw cord works very well with the metal board and the overhung felt giving a smooth rounded edge to the cover. I have not as yet ironed anything wet and normally only use a spray bottle on hard creases never a full steam iron. I may well buy another soon in case I need a spare

Not as thick and “cottony” as I would have liked it to be to replace my old double faced cover but it will do the trick. Very bright colors. Washed well first time. Fits my large ironing board just fine.

Good quality for the price, nice and thick, have to pull the cord tight to get a nice snug fit, otherwise it might be loose and baggy which can be very frustrating on a ironing board! It fits ok but not the ‘perfect fit’ as the old school covers that were elasticated types hence 4 stars but I’m very pleased with it.

True, it's just an ironing board cover, but this one is padded and it feels like quality, stays on well and as I've said in the headline, it's the best ironing board cover we've had since the JML cover we had some years ago. It is big, but our ironing board is big but it fit well.

I returned this item because it was far too large for my small ironing board.
