This is genuinely the best thing I've ever spent my money on. My hair type: 1B/1C straight, coarse, high-density Pros: Great, premium, metallic build; head-empty levels of ease of use; clear cover prevents burns; produces beautiful waves; double voltage; cord at the base of the iron rotates; beeps to tell you when it's done curling a section Cons: A bit expensive (but worth it IMO) I don't usually write reviews but I had to this time because I love this product so much. I have coarse hair that tends to get frizzy but doesn't hold its own wave or curl OR fall straight. I've always been insecure about how my hair looked because of this. Ever since I was a teen, I've always wanted wavy hair - not curly, but loose, natural waves. I've tried almost every heatless curling method, and all of them either looked messy, flat or didn't last. I've also tried the curly girl method, in case that would get me waves, but nada. Once I had the money, I decided I should invest in an actual curling iron. This is the first time I've ever used one and I'm so blown away at how easy it was to use! There was no learning curve for me at all - just remember to take the strand of hair over the * indicated in the clear cover. I pretty much just picked it up, turned on a podcast, and had a blast curling my hair - it only took me 30 minutes! I don't get stressed out about placing it down the counter or near my scalp because the clear cover makes me feel safe. And despite what the other reviews said, I've been able to get thicker sections of hair through the barrel just fine. I'm so, so happy they made this and at the 1 1/4" size! This also arrived 5 days earlier than expected.

Really easy to curl my hair and the results are amazing!! Also you won’t burn your face because it has a protective plastic for it. My hair is fine and I used the medium curl setting at the lowest temperature and got these amazing curls with the 1 1/4 size curler. I didn’t get any tangles at all, my hair was blow dried first with my Revlon brush. So much easier and faster than using my curling iron, which I HAVE burnt myself with… if you want to curl your hair easily, you will love this thing!! Don’t forget to use a heat protectant for your hair.

This was a quality product. I just couldn't get the effect I was going for with my hair.

Difficult to use, extremely small sections fit into the barrel. I was trying to use on customers not on myself so it should’ve been even less complicated. I would not recommend this product at all !
