Does this have a lighted screen?

No, for this particular one the screen is not lighted. I chose it because my Husband is retired and sits by a window during the day where there is good sunlight. I did not even consider this feature when I bought it. I can tell you he finds it challenging and is really enjoying it.

The game takes 2 AAA batteries. Some games from third party sellers come with batteries.
