Central Line Practice Set

This product is great! I used it in skills lab when teaching about central lines. I had my students take turns wearing it and practicing PICC line dressing changes. It gave them a chance to experience positioning the client’s arm for cleaning, while practicing communication with their client. Standard clave connectors fit on it, so I was able to teach them how to change the claves as well. I had them practice flushing with empty NS syringes that I filled with air, since the tubing is open ended. We tried putting a towel underneath and flushing with NS but it’s not worth the mess. It’s easier to use air. Despite the inability to flush with NS, it is still a great product for the price.

I bought this to practice central line dressing and clave changes. My clave broke off within a few uses and I had to glue it back on. Also tegaderms do not stick onto the “skin” so I had to use something else.
