What mp would you say it has?

I own six Canon EOS SLR cameras: two EOS 3000V Analogue, one EOS 300V Analogue and EOS 350D, 400D plus my new 2000D. Like my tough old 400D, I would class this camera with 18- 55mm lens as at least "Prosumer" level. My EOS 350D can produce real mean images. My 400D has a more powerful imaging sensor but the 2000D can capture detail that compares with an EOS 300V shooting Kodak Ektachrome Color reversal film; in other words, its 24Mp sensor can produce outstanding photos, particularly if one uses Digital Photo Professional to edit the images shot by this wonderful camera. It can work well with my old 220EX Speedlite or even better, my 430EX Speedlite that I bought with my Camera: this Speedlite can also be used with my Analogue EOS Cameras with no problems. Yes, The EOS 2000D has 24Mp; I haven't counted all of them either, but I believe the evidence of my own eyes when I see the fineness of detail that this Camera can deliver... If you want an affordable EOS Camera that can deliver, this is the one to purchase.

I'm a bit confused. Why is this camera £40 more expensive than the exact same camera but sold by a different company

Amazon will mostly always sell stuff for cheaper than the actual website because Amazon will have a huge amount of stock of them. Also, the other Canon EOS 2000D camera that's on Amazon for a little cheaper is SLR, not DSLR. There is a difference. One takes film and the other takes a normal memory card. It's DSLR that most people want. Modern and easy. Yes, a little more expensive but it's with the times.

Can you download photos over wifi or blue tooth or is it solely with a memory card?

Or you can use a card reader . Pop SD card in it and it will transfer RAW or jpeg to phone / tablet . The WiFi also works well on phone with the canon app
