Beautiful knife, will be great for sushi and in general. Handle is nice-looking and comfortable, and the knife is sharp, good balance. I like it a lot, highly recommend. Great price too..... I have bought a few Kitory knives, and I love all of them.....

After only a few uses the knife broke while cutting lettuce. Very dangerous!

Fantastic knife, I used it for steak and I just had to barely press it against the meat to perfectly slice it. It's awesome, comes in a nice box, properly wrapped and protected. Super sharp, light and easy to handle, it helped me make a perfectly looking tagliata without damaging or tearing apart the meat. Perfect, neat cut. It is so light that I also used it as a table knife for me to cut the meat while eating is (as opposed to just using it to slice the meat before serving it). It doesn't feel like a kitchen knife. Extremely recommended!

Muy buen cuchillo, hasta ahora ha conservado bien el filo, liviano y comodo al cortar. Llego con un poco de oxidación, pero debe ser normal por el carbono

It has a good edge to it but I have a couple of other similar knives that are sharper...one of them significantly sharper but at a higher price than this. With that being said... This is a really good knife. Better than many. The edge is sharp enough to fairly easily cut through onion or tomato skin(a true test for me). And, as a one time professional cook, I feel the knife seems to have good balance and rocks well on the cutting board. This knife blade has cool-looking etching on both sides - better on one side than the other. I like the look of the handle but would like it to be more substantial - thicker all the way around where I'd feel like I have a little more control and a good grip. Recommended. Hope this helps.
