Wow! What a difference! We have no AC in our little Casita here in Los Angeles, and global warming doesn’t care, nor do the landlords. This cooling mat has been the go to for both of my dogs, but especially my fluffy puffy girl who runs HOT, is very active, and has a really long fluffy GSD + Shar Pei coat and undercoat. I double up with one of those gel cooling collars you stick in the fridge, and she can finally relax with more than just a fan! I also LOVE that it’s waterproof!!! It saved my brand new dog bed, because it’s memory foam and crushed velvet, so it’s not only hot, but not waterproof, it’s brand new, and my 15 year old has a lot of trouble with vomiting. Do be careful in how you take care of this. Follow the instructions. My partner didn’t listen, washed it with everything else, and fried it, drying it in direct sun. The cooling powers are easily halved, and the color changed where there’s damage. You better believe he’s replacing it. It’s worth it to remember to wash on cold, or warm if you have fleas of course, and DRY IT IN THE SHADE!!!!!!!!!!!! Otherwise it’s a durable little sucker. My GSD / Pei mix is an aggressive chewer. It stood up to her, long enough for me to reward her for NOT chewing on it. She hasn’t destroyed it!!! She’s smart enough to know when she has a good thing… My dogs are getting the best sleep they’ve gotten all summer long. Nab these suckers! Multiples, so you can rotate once a week and just wash them in a single load. The nonslip base is really nice. This is the best cooling mat that I’ve personally ever had, and I’ve worked in dog rescue for decades. I love that this is non-toxic, so if lil miss chaos over here gets carried away and chews it up, someday, I don’t have to freak out. Not all of them are made the same!

This was the best money I spent on bringing home our new Malamuye in July. The fabric is very soft with a light layer of padding. It is very surprisingly cool to the touch. I laid out on the floor in the back seat of my truck anytime we're driving and he seems much more comfortable. I bring it with us on beach and lake trips and lay it out inside of my shade tent and he goes straight to it and has a wonderful nap after splashing around. His residual dampness seems to amplify its cooling effect. It held up wonderfully to one round through the washing machine so far and hanging to dry as instructions say. The stitching seems to be high quality and I expect this to last a good while. The 44" size is excellent for my adult male malamute and fits behind the passenger seat of my Ford F-150 with the back seat folded up. This is definitely contributing to his health in that he is drawn to it when we're out and about so that he will actually get some proper rest and a cooldown period on warmer days. My kids love lying on it too.

Very nice cooling mat. It does feel cool to the touch. It washes well through multiple washings and it is well made. It has a nice weight to it and doesn’t feel cheap. It also has some rubber, gripping on the backside to prevent it from slipping. Zero complaints so far.

I bought this for my cat who has an autoimmune disorder that’s affects his joints and his body temp can run a little higher than a cat’s already normal body temp of 101,0 degrees. He loves this thing! The mat is truly cooling and when I pick my cat up after he has been laying on it, I can feel that his body temp is actually cooler. The size is just right for both my cats to snuggle on it. I only gave it 4 stars because after only having it for about one month, I have noticed the pad doesn’t seem to be as cool to touch as when I first purchased it. The cats still use it daily though. I do wish there were more color options available but will probably buy another mat next summer.

I can't believe how well this works. I'm about to fight my dog for it. Embarrassingly, it was one of the hottest days in 10 years, where I live during the recent heat bubble, when the mat first arrived. It was white, and I thought I had gotten the wrong product. I ordered a replacement, which arrived and was pink as expected. When I double-checked the old one before returning it, lo and behold, it had become pink as well. My roommate and I both freaked out, because we had seen the original white one. I had not realized it changes color!!! The extreme heat of that day must have turned the other one completely white, and it must have been so hot that it couldn't flash back to the regular color. Usually when my dog gets up, it goes back to pink within seconds. The mat is fairly thick and the stitching on the trim looks solid and well done. I have not seen a single loose thread on it. The quilted pattern is consistent and solid. I like the grippy bottom too, so it doesn't slide around if I put it on the floor for her. I'm pretty sure I got the XXL size. It's just enough for her to sprawl out on it, so a bigger Great Dane might have to curl up to fit. She is a bit on the small side for a Great Dane. I guess the only negative comment I have about it is that it is difficult to fold or roll up for transport. I think if I had a strap, like a sleeping bag strap, it would be perfect. I tried to fold it up and put it in my suitcase when I went camping, but between all the rest of her stuff and my stuff it was a bit of a struggle. It folds or rolls easily enough, in the sense that the fabric is soft, but it is just so thick that it takes up a lot of space no matter how you try to contort it.

I got this for my Pitties. They are 60 lbs. We live in Hawaii and it has been hot and humid so thought I would try these. When I received the order, I placed them (got 2 of the large) on the carpet and they got on them right off the bat and they love laying on them. They are a good quality product and have nubbies on the underside so it won't slip on a slick floor. Wish I had gotten the XL for a little extra room but L works fine. Side note: I place them on the bed at night for them to lay on and found they doo great at laying my wrists on when I get a hot flash...LOL. Crazy but true.

My dog loves this mat, I have to bring it from room to room for him, I have washed it several times and still stays cool to the touch. I decided to order another one for him, after shipping delays it was finally sent, once I received it, the box was empty, thankfully I was issued a refund. I do not trust to try and order another one from this supplier, shame because I am really disappointed in some other ones I have tried

I really liked the cooling mat I purchased for my dogs. It is cooling although it does change temperature when he’s been laying on the same spot but he does get relief. I started spraying it with a water bottle to get it to cool down again quickly which does work. I wasn’t happy the size I ordered was short by a couple inches at both sides but still kept it because my dog is enjoying it.

Great cooling effect for an outside dog kennel, can feel the coolness out of the box, fit our kennel perfectly. Also has a non slip base which is a good addition.

Acheté pour un vieux Bouvier Bernois, il l'a adopté. Matière tres douce et confortable. Je ne peu pas juger de l'effet rafraichissant mais il passe de bonne nuit dessus.

Good product that does exactly what it claims to do. I purchased both the blue and gray versions. So far, I have noticed some color shifting on the gray one, but it has not affected the product's performance. My puppy absolutely loves it, and I would recommend it to anyone with puppies, dogs, or even cats—especially if you live in an apartment like mine that tends to get very warm during the day. I highly recommend this cooling pad, or any quality cooling mat, for your pet. If possible, consider getting a second one as well. They are great to have at home and can also be very useful to bring along on walks, outings, or trips. Your dog will definitely appreciate having a cool place to relax on hot days. I am certain you can also buy this for a child to lay on as well, and keep somewhat cool.
