I recently picked up the Lepro N1 AI Smart Neon Rope Light (6M), and honestly, it delivers a really high-end look without the premium price tag. The unit comes with a standard UK power plug, which is convenient. The Upside (Brilliant Lighting & Features): What immediately impressed me was the light quality. It's excellent and diffused, thanks to the 96 LEDs/meter density. I dislike seeing those individual "hotspots" you get on cheaper strips, but this rope provides a continuous, smooth, professional neon glow. Plus, the AI features and segmented control in the app are fantastic for dialling in a custom mood or scene. The Downside (The Flimsy Fixings): Now, for the fiddly challenge: installation. The rope is flexible, which is great, but it doesn't come with self-adhesive backing. It uses these plastic mounting clips and screws, and I have to say, they feel pretty flimsy. For a permanent or textured wall install, I'd definitely recommend skipping the provided hardware and planning to use something like strong double-sided tape myself. Final Verdict: If you're like me and prioritise brilliant, smooth light quality and rich app control above all else, you can't beat this light - just be prepared to buy your own mounting solution to make the installation solid.

Generally, I’m very impressed with the amount of customisability that you can get with the Lepro rope rgb strip. The quality for this is really really good, as soon as I turned on the light, it fully lit up the room. You can even screw the plates into the wall or use the adhesive on the back. The strip itself is very durable, as this can be formed into many different shapes if wanted, unlike most RGB strips. However have I do not believe that these can be cut or waterproof, so make sure you get the desired length you want. Connecting up to the Lepro app was really easy as well. You connect to your desired network and go! In addition, this product can be synced up with Alexa to make a smart home even better. You can cycle through different modes, sync up with music or room audio. The functionality is top notch! Overall, i am extremely impressed with the quality and for the price its amazing!

Very cool LED strip that is plug and play yet comes with advanced technology that is very easy to use even for the average person. I installed these under the soffit of my garden outbuilding and they look amazing. I keep them on warm white most of the time and use the AI feature and saved favourites to show off to family and friends. I automated it via alexa to come on at sunset and turn off at a set time. It is worth noting that these are mainly just RGB, so there is no ‘true white’ colour but a close match can be achieved with a light orange for warm white and a cool blue for cold white. Overall I am happy with these, they are highly customisable to achieve the exact look or pattern you desire.

Bought for my teenage son for Christmas, I wasn't sure what size to get so measured his room. 6 meters would be plenty... Turns out once you add squiggles, 6m doesn't go as far as you might think. We used 6m of wire /string, and blurtac to plan a pattern, then when we realised we'd used 4meters already, he decided to do just the one wall. He's very happy with them. Came with plenty of clips to fix them up, not used the screws, just the foam double sided pads. Colours are nice and bright! There are enough LEDs in the to make the colour graduations smooth too. The app works well, but is a little clunky, he won't let me integrate it with Alexa yet though, I think he worried I'll change the settings. Very happy with them at the moment. Just need to see how they fair over time.

Absolutely fantastic rope light, these ones are the proper multi fading colours, all the other cheaper ones which have pictures of multiple colours aren't like this. This atcually flows through different colours in the one strip, worth every penny. Comes with really good clips too, the best I've used when buying something like this before.

I purchased this for a very specific purpose - I wanted a permanent outdoor installation to provide low level lighting to an unlit path without an unsightly install. This works really well. I used the included mounting hardware, the clips come with screws and wall plugs (as well as VHB tape for indoor use) and were easily attached to the render on the outside of the house. I installed just below a lip of the render facing ‘outward’ rather than ‘downward’. This is quoted as being suitable for outdoor use but the power brick, control box and barrel jack connector are definitely not waterproof - I’ve installed these elements in a waterproof box (masterplug) and all is well. Colours are good but note that there are no white LEDs so shared if white are poorly produced - for my use a muted orange is quite nice anyway and a clinical blue-white can be achieved if needed. The Lepro app is on the poorer side - but I’ve connected the strip to HomeAssistant via a HACS integration and it works well that way. This also allows exposure to HomeKit. The WiFi connection is good, picking up a signal even outdoors, in a waterproof box, some distance from the nearest access point. I’m planning on removing the included controller and swapping it for a WLED controller (the strip is individually addressable - and that function is already available in the Lepro app). It seems the included controller is already ESP based so could also be flashed to WLED with some work.

I have a number of different lights, obviously these, hue and some cheap ones from Amazon. Lpdisplay _ lights are great _ music sync works. These are just poor, even next to each other they don't even light up the same brightness/colour. The music sync is what I mainly buy these for is terrible, again next to each other with music sync on via the app, they do completely different things. Two light the same, next to each other, selecting the same in app music option, they act differently. Amazingly bad. The price paid is disproportionate to the quality. Lepro will probably come back with some long email saying blah blah blah. As they did with the kitchen light I installed. Apparently it's ok to have a kitchen light that no longer works with the actual on/off switch on the wall. The reply was so long and boring I fell asleep. 'do this and that' the fact is the old light worked via Alexa and turned on and off using the wall switch. Amazing 100% would not recommend, purchased two of these strips, kitchen light (ceiling) some fancy light with 3 rings, absolutely rubbish, every time it says cant connect to WiFi, (literally 4 feet away) Stopped working after a month. Ios and Android. I'm only writing this review whilst I waiting for the washing machine to finish. Lol You get what you pay for and that's true for hue, these are hue like pricing with cheap quality app. Waste of my money. Cheap masking as quality. Just stick to hue, old setup worked for 12 years, I just wanted something different, especially the music sync. I'm guessing the other reviews say different, I might just have higher expectations.

Decided to get this rope light over another branded one, slightly cheaper and 6m.glad I did. 6m is a good size but any shorter would of been an issue for me. I like the static lights but there are loads of different light settings. The app is OK could do with some updates imo. Colours of the rope are very vivid, I can actually turn my lights off and the rope light actually lights the full room. I see no flicker and very happy with the product. My only issue is I leave it mains on and turn it on with the switch connected, but I've noticed that the switch seems to always feel warm even if it's been off for a day. Not an issue it's not like it's not safe just a personal gripe I guess. Oh and the 3m sticky pads weren't great I chose to use some glue to stick the pads to the wall still not a deal breaker though Would recommend the light it really looks good. Great price and great quality
