Excellent quality
Excellent quality for light shade net. I have used 2 large command hooks on upvc so that I can easily support the rod and lift on and off. Very quickly delivered and well packaged

Sags
The pole is easy to extend to the required length but it sags down in a shallow, concave curve once the nets are on it. It may be necessary to attach a hook to keep the centre parallel to the recess. Update: This is the second of these rods that I have purchased. The first was opened by a kind young man working in my house. The second tube I had to deal with myself. The tube containing the rod is difficult to open because it has three, very thick staples attaching the lid to the tube. I don't do DIY so do not have tools suitable for dealing with the problem. I had to resort to using a pointed knife to get under the staples and then twist the knife to get the staple loose enough to pull out with a small pair of pliers. It's great to be secure, but when you are 80 with arthritic fingers, it's not a lot of fun trying to get them out. The rods are great, though.

Really pleased with product
Arrived well packaged in a strong tube. Nice item as described. It does the job. I have light nets on it so it's fine but I'd say if the nets are heavier it would need a centre support as it would bow a bit in the middle, depending on the length of the rod. Easy to install.

Terrible Seller & Defective Design
Do not buy from this seller! The product is flimsy, misleadingly described and completely unfit for purpose. A center support is essential for lengths over 2m, but they only list it as a "recommendation" instead of including it. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced on Amazon. Despite Amazon confirming I should get a pre-paid return label, the seller refuses to provide one. They keep making excuses and asking repetitive questions just to avoid accepting the return, demanding that customers pay for shipping themselves. Total waste of money and time!
