Why I Bought These: I spend 8+ hours a day on my feet—walking on concrete floors, climbing stairs, and wearing heavy-duty work boots. My feet and lower back were constantly aching. I needed serious shock absorption, and the thick GelActiv technology from Scholl seemed like the best solution for all-day comfort. The Key Benefits (The Pros): Excellent Shock Absorption: The gel cushioning is fantastic. It drastically reduces the impact felt through the heel and ball of the foot, which is the main source of pain on hard surfaces. My foot fatigue is noticeably reduced, and my lower back feels less strained by the end of my shift. All-Day Comfort: They turn my otherwise stiff work boots into genuinely comfortable footwear. They provide a solid layer of support and cushioning right where you need it most. Good Durability: They are robust and seem to hold up well to heavy daily use and moisture without losing their supportive springiness. They don't flatten out quickly like cheaper foam insoles. Easy to Clean: The surface material wipes down easily, helping to keep the inside of my boots fresher. The Compromise (The Cons): Initial Trimming Required: Like most insoles, you need to trim them to fit your specific shoe size. This is slightly annoying and requires a steady hand and a sharp pair of scissors to get the perfect fit. Slightly Bulky: Because they are so thick to provide that excellent cushioning, they take up a noticeable amount of space inside the shoe. You might need to loosen your laces or ensure your shoes aren't already a very tight fit, especially with steel-toe boots. Final Verdict: If your job requires you to be on your feet for long hours, the Scholl GelActiv Work & Boot Insoles are a vital investment in your health and comfort. They provide superior shock absorption that lasts all day. They lose one star only because of the bulkiness and the necessary trimming process. A highly recommended purchase for workers who need real relief.

These insoles definitely make a difference if you spend long hours standing or walking in work boots. They provide good cushioning, especially in the heel area, and help reduce foot fatigue by the end of the day. After a short break in period they feel comfortable and supportive without being too soft or squishy. They fit well in work boots and do not slide around once in place. Build quality feels solid and they have held their shape well with regular use so far. The only reason they are not 5 stars is the price. They are more expensive than basic insoles, but you are paying for better comfort and support, which you do notice over time. If your feet ache after long shifts, these are worth trying and are a good upgrade over standard insoles.

These have been my go to insoles for any work boots that I have. I found them to make working in my boots much more comfortable as I work long hours. They support the heel extremely well and do not smell at all. I change my insoles every 6 months as recommended. I found it better if you use the original shoe insole as a template when cutting down to size as you end up with a perfect fit for the shoes.

Really comfortable, easily cut to size, simple to use. Added to my work boots and has saved me replacing what were otherwise we're a good boot. Plenty of support and feet feel fresh after a long day on your feet.

I'm sure the insoles will be comfortable, but the size guide on them is way out. I was fitting them into brand new size 8 (UK) walking boots. So I cut the first one to the size 8 line, only to find it was well short of the end of the toe box, when I fitted it. So I cut the second one to the size 9 line and that was also short of the the end of the toe box. My advice if you are fitting these to walking/hiking boots; cut them to two sizes larger than the size of the boots they are going in.

These insoles are excellent,once in place they don’t move,I wear wellies 12hrs a day at work,extremely comfortable and I hang on line to air out or dry Highly recommended

I bought these as I had completely worn through the insoles in my current work boots and needed some more, I knew Scholl as a brand and that their insoles are typically quite good. To cut a long story short these are good insoles, not the best I have ever used nor the most comfortable but definitely better than the majority of included insoles in boots. Now the long one. The support these offer is quite good in fact, my feet dont ache after a long day at work stood up all day (typically walking between 7-13 miles per day) and these fit well in my steel toe capped boots without adding much extra height inside of the boot itself. Cutting them was a little tricky to get right, it comes with a 'size guide' HOWEVER these are done in letters and not in numbers, something which I dislike as the box mine came in did not actually give a conversion from A, B, C, D and E to 12, 11, 10, 9 etc. This led to a lot of internet searching to actually find a conversion, hence the 4 star review as really I'd expect to open a pair of insoles and easily be able to cut them to size using the guides. Clearly these are durable as I have been using them near daily in my boots for a long while now without any visible or feeling any signs of wear and tear to them as yet, as such I believe these are functional, durable and decent value for money.
