Great nutrients for a strong start
Easy to use, with the right devices and sterile environment. Highly recommend Erlyenmyer flask, makes pouring much easier, magnetic stir plate and a laminar flow hood. Mycellium grows fast and strong with the carbon black makes a very nice contrast!!

AMAZING AGAR!!!
This stuff is amazing and also looks super cool when dried!! I've been fighting with agar the old fashioned methods for awhile with clumps and just unsightly agar. This couldn't have mixed better, even before the PC. First time using and was super easy and dried perfectly. Next project is agar slants!!! They should look siiiiiiiiick!!!!! Don't hesitate on this, amazing product!!!

Solid Pre-mixed Nutrient Agar.
Growth rates were just as good or better than the pre-sterilized Nutrient Agar I have used in the past. I like the high contrast even more than I expected. Comes with clear instructions. Good for the money, This will give you at least 5 times the plates as the pre-sterilized stuff at the same price. I made and sterilized it ahead of time, storing it in a borosilicate media bottle. So I had to re-heat it after sterilization in order to pour my plates. I used a hot water bath as I normally do, set to constant temp. When I went to pour my plates, it was still pretty kinda chunky, even though I had it warming for quite some time. It didn't noticably affect growth. I'm guessing I just need to warm it more thoroughly next time... Cause all Agar can be liquified again from solid, right??
