Energon Universe is going strong.
Volume 2 of void rivals fits well as an either a standalone story continuing from vol 1, or if you are following the other Energon books. The characters are really interesting, funny at times and well written, and although some transformers make appearances, they do not overtake the void story and only compliment the great overall story that is going on. I’d never heard of this series and only picked it up as I was curious about the way it interlinked with G.i. Joe, etc… but found it to be a good series in its on right. Recommended, A++++

Package was delivered fine, good condition, with no visible damage, but book inside was damaged. Creased and folded. Poor handling before being packed. Lack of care. Disappointing.

If you've been following the Energon Universe, then this just keeps it going. Just as good as the first part and keeps me wanting more! The artwork is as great as ever and the story is amazing. The way it ties into Transformers is really awesome to see... Very subtle references and appearances so far and you know it's just going to get better!

I left this review on the first book as well because I read them back to back in one sitting: I never take the time to review things. This was worth it. I just read to first two graphic novels back to back in one sitting and I'm in love with these books. I'm an old school Transformers G1 fan, and reading new and original science fiction set in THAT story continuity is just so rewarding and enjoyable for me. Seeing Skuxxoid again is hilarious. Expanding on Cybertronian mythology is wonderful. Seeing a totally DIFFERENT culture interact with energon for the first time is fascinating. When I saw that Robert Kirkman was handling this, Icaved and took the risk on buying these stories and I couldn't be happier. Highly recommended to all fans of sci-fi and also to fans of Transformers G1.
