I really like this case for my new iPad! I ordered this and one other to actually compare and this was far better, plus the price was less - a double win! This case is far more professional and attractive looking. It works well, feels well made and has good protection for the iPad inside. I love that it has a pocket on the outside which really comes in handy for cards, papers, notes, etc. I’m very happy I took a chance and chose this case! Oh, I also love the color I chose - purple! (We always buy the beautiful iPads and never see the color when we put them in a nice case!).

These are great cases. I’ve bought four of them over the last decade, and they are consistently very well made. My wife has had two cases. These cases are our favorite cases. They look good, they fit good, and they perform.

I recently got a iPad Air. I had a iPad that is old. I needed a new case. I found this and the purple is my favorite color. The was easy to install it. Not sure about the pen holder since I don’t use it. The function of it easy to use. I love that it has 3 ways to stand up my tablet. It seems like it would stay in place pretty good. To me it’s not really heavy.

I was tempted to order a real leather cover from pad and quill after Thanksgiving. I’m really glad that I got this instead! Positives = 1. It looks super nice! A nice lighter brown (cognac) color outside and a grayish color inside. Very soft outside and does not look cheap or fake to me. The iPad snaps into a thin plastic case that attaches to the back leather on the outer long edge only (so that it can be tilted to function as a stand). 2. It holds 8.5 x 11 paper in the pocket but it’s tight. 3. The stand part functions well. 4. I enjoy the cover elastic strap to hold it closed in my bag. 5. The sleep/wake feature works as advertised. 6. Protection seems adequate as long as cover is closed/strapped. I had a light fall (2 feet) and iPad was fine. 7. DOES charge Apple Pencil. Negatives = 1. Only one! Because the iPad Is only attached to the back leather cover on the outer long edge, sometimes when you are holding the iPad in your hand with the front cover folded back the unattached long side flops forward. It’s more of an annoyance but seems like it could be easily fixed with some kind of snap or magnet inside the back cover. Maybe I’m just super picky? Verdict = I’d buy it again!

Not wanting to pay Apple's prices for a flimsy case, I found this Ztotop case at Amazon and ordered it. It fits like a glove, and unlike many other new cases, this case allows the Apple Pencil (2nd generation) to stick to the iPad and charge! The case also has a loop to put the pencil in a bit more securely for those times when I'm afraid it might get knocked off the side of the iPad, but so far, carrying it back and forth to school in a briefcase and using the iPad to teach a class, the pencil has stayed securely fastened to the iPad by its own magnets. The case looks very professional, it doesn't add a lot of weight to the iPad, and it's got an elastic loop to slip my hand inside when the case is open so I can hold it securely in my hand without fear of it slipping out of my hand. It has three different notches to adjust the angle of the iPad when I use the case as a stand. My only regret is that the iPad can't swivel to be in portrait mode while using this case as a stand. However, my iKlip studio stand will hold my new ipad in this case in portrait mode so I don't really need my case to able to do that. The front cover of the case has a place where one can put some papers or other very thin things (a short charging cable would fit) but it's not secure so they could fall out. I'm very glad I decided to give this case a try -- it may well be the only case I ever buy for this new iPad!
