Coolblus portable air conditioner,12000 BTU portable ac unit up to 550 Sq,3 IN 1 with Remote Control,White

My whole house A/C went out and it’s warm here. I just got the Coolbus yesterday 6/4/24 and got it hooked up in my upstairs. It was really warm up there as you can imagine. I hooked up the hose and placed it in a I gallon container at about 10:00 p.m. I checked it at about 4:00 a.m. and it had removed 1 gallon of water. The container was very full. My first suggestion is give it plenty of room to remove the humidity (I had no idea how much it would remove). It did its job and had cooled the upstairs to a comfortable temperature I had it set on 69 initially. I set it on 70 because I would be at work all day and went into overkill on the container. I did not know how much more humidity it would draw out so the hose was placed in a 27 gallon tote. I arrived back home 3:10 p.m. and that tote was dry as a bone. I will check it daily and empty as necessary. It has been a game changer for my upstairs. My house is approximately 1600 sq ft. I have another portable downstairs that I bought last year, but this one really does a great job cooling. If you are hesitating on buying a portable A/C don’t they are really easy to hook up and easy to move from room to room. I’m 65 and an average sized woman. I haven’t found any leaks and for that I’m grateful. I believe I found a quality product at a good price and would definitely purchase again from this seller. I won’t know how efficient it is until I get my electric bill :). Hopefully efficiency will be one I’ll add later, just too soon to tell at this point. Edit: the company reached out to me and offered a replacement or a full refund. I elected for the refund which was issued to me in about 5-7 days. The company also told me I did not have to pack up and sent back this 55+ lb item. That was huge to me. The item was defective but the company stood by its product and offered several solutions that made me happy. I likely got a dud or was damaged in transit. I apurchased this item last week via Amazon and it arrived yesterday. I think it’s defective or . I have a 350 square ft bedroom. I installed as instructed. (I’ve used portable AC for years). My room was 73 degrees. I set the unit on low fan cool to 68 degrees. 2 hours into cooling the entire upper back rear housing is covered in ice. It blows cool air but it blows the same temp air no matter what I set it at. Last night I turned it off, let the ice melt & connected the drain hose. Today I tried again. 74 degrees in my room, attempt to cool to 68. Again, back is covered in ice after two hours. Blows cool air but doesn’t cool the room. I will attach pictures of all the ice. It is not obstructed or blocked on any side. Sitting on carpet. If this continues I want to return it but it’s too heavy to pack up and take to a shipping place. I’m out $319. I replaced an old one because it was worn out. This doesn’t help me at all but I can’t possibly load it up & take it to a shipping place. It’s too heavy. I’ve included 2 pictures and a video. Should have bought a name brand one. Expensive lesson learned. It’s just a big boxy fan now. It’s not loud but it does sound like an industrial fan. I was able to sleep but I’m used to sleeping with a fan.

-------------- UPDATE -------------------- 1 year later and it doesn't put out cool air. It was in our closet over the winter, and I moved it back into the bedroom for the summer. So it wasn't like we were rough with it, or damaged it. It had a leak on its own, which means it was poorly built. I had 5 stars cause it was wonderful, but it should last for more than one year. So now it is 1 star. Even on the low fan setting, it is LOUD. I'm not sure why other people say it is quiet. I did get the bigger unit, so maybe that is why? I am a very picky sleeper, so what I do is run it for a couple hours before bed, get it down to a good temp and then turn it off for the night. I also live in Colorado, so it cools down at night and I don't need to run it all night. --------------------------------------------- My bedroom is on the second floor, so during the hotter months it'll be 7-10 degrees hotter than my first floor. I got this to help, and it works great. I turn it on for a couple hours and the room quickly cools down 10 degrees. It is quick and easy to setup. There is a gap in the window, but lets be real, the exhaust would let in warm air if the unit wasn't running. So I pull it out from the window during the day, and put it back up at night. Pros: GREAT price Cools my second floor very well Easy to setup Runs well so far Cons: VERY LOUD even on the low setting. There's a night setting, and I'm not sure what it means. It'd be nice if the night setting was actually quiet, even if you sacrifice some performance.

came promptly and delivered directly to my 3rd floor which is great as i couldn't lift the package up those stairs - packing was good and product arrived in prefect shape -had difficulty attaching the exhaust hose not very secure, the drain hose came severely bent had to use tongs to straighten, if good quality hosewindow guide (although not in the specifications, comes in 2 pieces approx. 25 1/2" each)doesn't fit well in my weird window frame - still trying to rig something - really want this unit - sound has low hum (is sitting on carpet) and cooling is working good- hopefully over use will be happy with unit - needs time to determine. manual drain seems problematic is located so low on the unit - can't imagine what kind of receptacle will fit under there to drain unit - planning on using the continuous drain (haven't needed to yet) but still will have to use that lower drain somehow to completely drain unit overall seems like good value and also is a good looking unit kind of contemporary warranty is emailed, had to cancel as amazon has my old unused email, can't find how to get that updated no instructions on maintenance came in a bottomless box with white plastic strapping - now how do i return it?

I have only had the cool bus portable Air conditioner for a day , but I got a wonderful night's sleep last night using it in my bedroom . We live in a town house & the upstairs gets hotter during the day . We used to have to blast the AC ( which was one zone ) to get it cool enough upstairs . Last night with our cool bus AC unit we slept comfortably while keeping our whole house AC turned to a higher temp . We feel in the long run this will help save on our electric bill because we are no longer having it freezing downstairs to stay cool enough upstairs . I will start with delivery and packaging which was great . Our unit arrived in perfect condition . Set up ...was fairly easy . Be sure to have the vent hose fully uncrimped on the ends . This allows attachment for the unit and opposite end for the window attachment to go on easily . Basically it's pretty much ready except for the slide in window adjustment piece . My husband set it up but I could have done it &all you need is a screwdriver . We did set up a bucket for drainage , but after a whole night there wasn't any water . Be sure to set the unit upright in the box for 24 hours before attempting set up . The instructions say to do that . The unit is very sturdy and attachment pieces are as well . It has wheels to make it easy to move . Temperature control seems reliable and easy .I used the remote and it worked well . This unit has several options not only for AC but can just be used as a fan or dehumidifier. It cools very quickly & the air it blows is very cool & as if you were using a regular window unit . We had never used a portable AC before but for the price this seems like it was a good purchase for us . * Using it in the bedroom the display is bright but I just put a piece of paper on top to dim the light . Overall it is a perfect solution for us to keep our 12 x 15 bedroom comfortable. The dislplay is easy to read . As with any AC unit it does make noise going on & off but it's not disturbing . Update........ ***We have had this unit since Summer 24 and it still works beautifully. It's only a year & I hope I continue to get many years of use . It has lowered our electric bill immensely. We have an all electric condo unit & our electric used to be $ 400 a month . Now it was $170 in one of the hottest months . Our downstairs had to be freezing to cool the upstairs ...now we are cool and comfortable. It's not the prettiest extending from our hallway into our bedroom . But it's worth it to be cool . Don't hesitate to buy it.

Amazing unit, it’s beautifully designed, well-engineered, and solidly constructed. It is relatively quiet, the motor-compressor noise level is very low (does not transmit noticeable vibrations to the floor) and the sound of airflow is very clean to the ears. As a result, the noise added to the room is minimal andd amounts to un-intrusive "white noise", not likely to disturb sleep, study, or conversation. I've used mine beside my desk during meetings, with no problems. This unit is rated at 300 square feet. I chose the larger capacity to operate it more efficiently in its m, I’m so happy because it’s saving energy efficiency and increasing cooling efficiency and eg life to the unit. The controls are marked and easy to use. The remote control works well and offers enhanced features. In addition, we enjoyed quality sleep with the unit on, eliminating the residual heat gained by the building during the day. As a bonus in my urban environment, the now-closed window and the white noise of the unit help to virtually eliminate the disturbance from normal urban nighttime activities. Highly recommended product! 100%

The AC unit blows cold air and is fairly easy to set up. It works effective, But the fan on high has a bad squeak and sometimes on low as well can’t figure out how to make it go away sometimes if I tilt it slightly to the side, it pauses for a second it is too loud to sleep with. I put a video to show this.

I am soooo PLEASANTLY SURPRISED & sooo PLEASANTLY HAPPY w/our new Portable Air Conditioner by COOLBLUS!!!! It came super fast…nicely & caringly packaged so that everything arrived in tact. It came w/everything you need to set it up in your home & working, so that you & your home can soon find some relief from the warmer days. Just a bit of info, that I actually was clueless about, is that the unit has to sit-do not plug it in or run it-for no less than 24hrs!!! There is oil that is in the motor that has to settle before running it or you can risk it malfunctioning. So that’s just a bit of F.Y.I. to hopefully save all of you good folks from unnecessary stress & missing out on a great A/C Unit!!! The whole unit feels like QUALITY machinery!!! It’s nice and compact & has handles that are placed inward, so there’s maximum ease while moving it around, along w/wheels on the bottom…making mobility super ideal & easy w/this ANAZING unit! It was very easy to setup using the instruction manual-I think it took me around 15-20 min to have it fully assembled & up and running! I love that it comes w/a remote control making that much more of a pleasure to operate. Another excellent feature is that it runs pretty quietly! Of course it’s not completely silent but I can hear myself thinking & talking to someone…lol!!! I’ve had other A/C units that were just horrible when it comes to the motor noises!!! It seems to be really low maintenance as well which to me is A LOT!!! Especially when all of your minutes in the day are accounted for…lol!!! This is just a GREAT unit!!! Air flow is on point…gets nice & cold fast…it’s nice & compact…it’s easy to maneuver…has a nice timer function for shut off…has a nice variety of settings!!! It’s quality ABSOLUTELY surpasses its value any day!!! Definite 10 out of 10 for myself & my Family!!!
