Great product, vibrant colors work well to give pictures a vibrant touch. Works well with 243 black and 244 colors. For Canon cartrideges, just puncture the top of each cartride with a poke kit or drill bit and add colorant with paint needles and your all set, never have to buy more cartridges again.

I was so excited to receive this kit. It came withing one day of ordering. I had ran out of ink for my canon printer which I barely use. I mostly use it in the summer when teaching my kids while they are in summer break. I went to order but the prices were too high and decided to search ways to reduce cost them found out I can do it myself by getting one of these kits. The best decision I ever made. It was pretty easy especially since the cartridges I had was what I ordered like a little over a year ago from eBay and they were remanufactured ones. I was a little disappointed that it did not came with the thumb drill but I had a little screw driver to improvise with, but to my surprise my catridges did not need to be drilled since the holes were already perfectly in place where I can see the sponge clearly in good lighting. I refilled my catridges in no time, placed them back in the printer and startef printing right away. It actually prints better than the remanufactured ink that I was using before. I give this product 10 stars. One of my best buys ever yet and I highly recommend it. Great deal for an affordable price. I cannot ask for more.

This worked like magic for PG-240 XL and CL-241 XL ink for my TS5140 canon printer. Just to clarify, my printer was from a different region and Canon cartridges are region locked so I couldn't find compatible cartridges in the USA. What a sad state of affairs. I did not want to chuck a perfectly new and working printer so I took out my old empty cartridges PG-440 and CL-441 (US equivalent if PG-240 and CL-242), drilled holes into the vent holes with a 1/15 drill bil, filled it up with this ink and voila, works perfectly. For black I refilled 13 ml, for magenta 4 ml, for yellow 4 ml and cyan 4 ml. My empty cartridges now work like new and print quality is stunning. Color print sample attached. What a fantastic product that enabled this workaround for me. 5*

Great price!!! The ink quality seems good and I have had no issues with my prints. That being said it is very awkward and messy to refill my printer. I can't invert the bottle to fill the needles, I basically gravity fed the ink into the syringe with no back. It made a mess, but the printer is full. Tldr; it's troublesome but works fine - wear gloves I was stained for days!

Use common sense and you'll be fine. If you want the super black ink all the time use the photo ink. The regular black isn't as vivid but it is just fine for everyday printing needs. I received all pieces, nothing was busted or open, and when I peeped under the sticker on top my cartridge already had a hole so it took me all of 2 minutes to refill once I looked up the capacity of my cartridge. Don't inject it like it's insulin, make sure your hole is right (put the needle in to check the size BEFORE you fill it with ink), and see how much ink you need to use (literally type your cartridge and the word capacity into Google). Do not poke a hole in the seal on the bottle, remove the seal and then put a piece of plastic wrap over the hole and poke the needle through that (and then throw it away because if you reuse it, it may slip and make mess). The bottles are clear, you don't need to bury the syringe to draw ink. Wipe the needle with a paper towel when you remove it from the bottle. That tiny bit of ink can bead on the top of the cartridge or just get all over the place with the slightest touch. If you control the splatter, keep the outside of the needle clean as you go, and know how much ink to use you won't make a mess because the ink is contained in the appropriate places. I would give this purchase ten stars if I could. Don't spend twice as much. Get this one. And if you're learning, get it knowing that you're playing with ink and if you wing it, you're going to make a mess and potentially have to work some kinks out that you created. That's not the product's fault.

Works great compatible with my mx472 printer!

I did not know that you needed a cartridge reset or to be able to refill your cartridges so I was unable to fill mine. Otherwise you get a nice large jar of ink would work great if it came as a whole kit that you could’ve put the ink in right away. Now I have to order a reset tool.

I PREVIOUSLY RATED THIS A 1 STAR BECAUSE I FOLLOWED THE VIDEO AND NOTHING PRINTED IN THE COLOR YELLOW, WHICH IS THE ONLY CARTRIDGE i FILLED. SOMEWHERE I READ TO FILL THE COLORS WITH 2 ML AND IN BLACK 3 ML. LATER, I DECIDED TO ADD ANOTHER 2ML, THEN ANOTHER 2ML THEN IT TOOK ANOTHER 1ML BEFORE A SINGLE DRIP FINALLY BLOTTED ONTO A HANDTOWEL. THEN I TRIED IT BACK INTO THE PRINTER AND VOILA! IT WORKED! NO MESS OR LEAKS. IN FAIRNESS, I MUST AD THAT THE VIDEO WAS SHOWING AN EARLIER VERSION OF HP CARTRIDGE. MINE IS AN HP 8020 PRINTER THAT TAKES SEPARATE HP910 COLOR INK CARTRIDGES WHICH ARE PROBABLY LARGER THAN THE COLOR CELLS IN THE VERSION PROFILED. SOMEONE IN AN EARLIER REVIEW HAD MADE A COMMENT ABOUT THE REFILL BOTTLE LEAKING. AFTER UNSCREWING THE TOP YOU HAD TO POKE A HOLE THROUGH THE FOIL TO ALLOW THE SYRINGE NEEDLE TO ACCESS THE INK FLUID AND YES, IT WILL LEAK AFTERWARD 'IF' YOU DON'T COVER THE HOLE UP AFTER USING. I USED A VERY SMALL, 1/2" SQUARE OF FOIL DUCT TAPE THAT I HAD. IT APPEARED TO BE THE SAME TAPE THAT THE INK MAKER USED TO CAP THE BOTTLE. IT WORKED PERFECTLY! AND WHEN YOU GO BACK TO USE IT AGAIN, THE TAPE EASILY PEELS BACK TO GAIN ACCESS TO THE INK. I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU, BECAUSE THE PRODUCT DOES APPEAR TO WORK VERY, WELL AND AT GREAT SAVINGS!

I'm the type that buys a printer and when the ink needs to be replaced gets so frustrated that the ink is more than the printer! So I normally refuse to buy the cartridges and then a year later get rid of the printer because it is never used. Purchasing this refill kit was the greatest. I took me about 40mins from start to finish and that includes watching a you tube video on how to refill cartridges and also looking up capacities. I seen many reviews that complain about no instructions and hand drill included for that method of refilling. I do agree that instructions could make it easier but they are not required with the amount of knowledge available on the web. Out of the two methods to refill cartridge's I went with the one where you remove the entire cover and sponges and refill. This to me was easier than drilling the small holes and refilling that way. Excellent product and for the money we will be printing for a long time and be saving $100's of dollars. It entirely likely that the printer will die before we make it through the amount of cartridges that the kit can refill... 10+ Black & 30+ Colour!

This worked on my Canon mg2500. It doesn't come with a drill, so use a bit slightly bigger than the needle to let air flow out as the ink goes in, so the ink doesn't squirt all over you. Assume ink is going to go all over you in any event and prepare accordingly. There is a generous supply of ink. You have to find a video on where to drill. Overall, a good product.

The ink syringe makes refill simple to get the right quantity. You can pour it directly as well. For my Pixma (TS5320) it doesn't need the photo black ink, but there is the pigment (PG?) black.
