Just in case when hiking
Cant say that I can acually say how well this product works, thank god. I bought when we were going to the mountains. Made me feel better

Keeping our pets safe
We live in a rural area. When walking with our dogs there is some concern about coyote and black bears. We love wildlife and attempt to coexist peacefully, but also want to be cautious. This product fits comfortably in a pocket. Hopefully there will never be a need to use them, but better safe than sorry.

Not needed but GLAD it was within reach!
We didn't need either but peace of mind while hiking both Grand Tetons and Yellowstone NPs. I liked having both units as one purchase.

Loud horn, sprayer is good
The horn has a "safety" that keeps it from accidently going off. Bear spray shoots very hard, long reach
