Excellent Mini Splits
Exactly product, I actually have three other Rovsun mini splits. All work great and are very energy efficient. This last one I did have an issue with one of copper lines which they were excellent to work with on getting a replacement. They also compensated price wise on my order. From start to finish with these units I've been thoroughly impressed with the seller, quality, packing and shipping.

Just the best mini split
I really canโt say enough good things about this unit. I got it to install in our new tiny house in the backyard. 8 x 12. 8 foot ceilings. Admittedly, this unit is overkill for that size but man it really is awesome. You can barely hear it running inside or outside. To the point that you sometimes have to go put your hand up next to it to make sure itโs actually operational. Obviously, installing one of these takes a lot of tools and skills that I did not have. Neither the tools nor the skills. But I bought all the tools either off Amazon or locally and got it all done. My flare connections required a few redos as they were perfect seals at first. But thatโs learning any new technical process. Itโs not always going to be perfect. I watched multiple YouTube videos on how to install this specific unit and how to vacuum and charge basically any mini split. I literally watched them over and over again until it made perfect sense. I also used AI to double check the torque specs on the various flares that I needed to secure down. The instructions are pretty good that come with this, but it does leave a few things unclear that I had AI help me with. Like what size each pipe is that is included. The torque specs list four different sizes but there are only two. But I obviously got it all figured out. I havenโt used it for heat yet, but Iโm excited to see how that works once it cools down outside. The cooling performance is crazy. Once I kick it on for cooling, even on the hottest day, our tiny house will be 72ยฐ within 10 to 15 minutes. And it will stay at 72ยฐ with you wondering if this unit is actually on because itโs so quiet. I will probably buy at least one more of these for our main house now that Iโve had such a good experience with this one. Keep in mind that youโre going to have to buy the tools, but youโll also have to get a mount for the outside unit if you donโt want it sitting on the ground. And youโre gonna need to get the concealment kit so the copper tubes and the condensation drain tube look good on the outside of your building. This is not a project for amateurs, but if youโve got a reasonable confidence in your โdo it yourselfโ skills, youโll be fine. Just take your time, double check everything you do, donโt kink the pipes, leave yourself extra pipe for the inevitable bad flair, and youโll be good to go.

Challenging installation, but great results!
I did install this myself, even though the instructions (and I think the warranty requires) say to have it installed by a licensed technician. I spent the extra money to get the 23 SEER2 rating because I'm in northern Pennsylvania, and the winter nights get pretty cold. Everything was packaged extremely well, and the installation, while nerve wracking went without a hitch. It requires a vacuum pump and a manifold set with gauges to install correctly.

Quiet. Easy to install with basic HVAC tools. Highly recommend.
Excellent performance, very quiet inside operation, easy installation. For anyone with some basic DIY know-how, a vacuum pump and the ability to drill some holes through the wall of your house, installation of this item is a no-brainer. I am using it to heat/cool a 300 sq-ft bedroom. It does so on the second-to-lowest fan setting. It is hardly perceptible when running, although you can really turn the fan up if you like noise while sleeping. Difficult to really tell how much of an energy hog this will be, as it's used sparingly in a house that is mainly heated by wood to keep a bedroom a tad bit warmer than the rest of the house. it's real utility will come in summer, I'm sure. Based on the ratings, it should be much more efficient than the old AC that's installed in this house. Recommended accessories that will help installation go smoother: Line insert bending tool that allows you to make kink-free bends 45 degree flaring tool to be able to cut one side of the line to length Vacuum pump & various connections to adapt to the service port of this unit Micron Vacuum Gauge to ensure complete vacuum In all, these recommended tools are probably 200-300 bucks. You could buy all, and still install this unit for cheaper than one from your local HVAC company. It's sad that's the state of the USA these days.

junk
this is the biggest piece of trash I have ever purchased. it worked great for 48 hrs. then just stopped working. I tried to get ahold of support with no response. no return available so I just got screwed out of almost 600.00. I'm not happy or impressed. complete rip off.

Great product
Easy install. Cools my 24 foot enclosed trailer very well in upper 90 degree temperatures. It is so quiet that I canโt hear it inside the trailer.

Warranty
I have purchased these units, over 20 of them, for a few years now and have never had a problem. On this particular unit I am having issues! It was hooked up correct, the lines were vacuumed, it held the vacuum, but when turned on the unit is not cold! I didn't get it installed in the 30 day time frame so I am dealing with Rovsun to get the issue resolved. Doesn't look good at this point! I will update this review when a decision is made. As far as I am concerned a unit is only as good as the manufacturer or seller standing behind their product.
