I didn't realize this had black pepper in it which so many people with autoimmune conditions are sensitive to. I'm normally a fan of a lot of ProHealth's products but this seems like an oversight on this one. There is a big debate on whether black pepper is really necessary for absorption with some of these supplements and I'm not convinced it is. Other than the black pepper, this seems like a good supplement. Its on the larger side so if difficulty swallowing is an issue, that may be another reason to go with a different brand. I do like the addition of the Alpha Lipoic Acid for absorption of the berberine but if you take berberine with dinner, you are probably getting enough fat to absorb it and the berberine may help with digestion as well, so its a win-win. I also like ProHealth's quality and that they claim to have this 3rd party tested since it doesn't appear that they manufacture this in their own facility. I would always love to see lot numbers and more transparency on 3rd party testing claims but I couldn't find more information on their website. I have only had good experiences with the ProHealth supplements I've used in the past, though, so I trust this brand.

This product really reduces sugar cravings. It’s especially helpful during the holidays

The serving size on my bottle says 1 capsule at 600 mg. Amazon desc states serving size is two 600mg capsules. Which is it?! ProHealth needs to get its information accurate. They could cause some real health and medical issues for people with confusing labeling and Amazon info.
